I stayed there before and it was a bit better. It’s the cheapest hotel in this area but yet — not free. This time I had worse smaller room, old mattresses — our backs hurt in the morning, parking was occupied by local people and sometimes it was hard to find a spot despite given windshield permit, there was no tea or decaf coffee in the room ever — only regular coffee, shower curtain is too close — I was constantly coming in contact with this germs-filled fabric, tv is set for crooked stretched picture format and one cannot change it ever, one day we came early and there was cleaning going on — while we waited outside— strange activities started taking place — not friendly front desk woman came to check our room, then a tall black African dude grabbed a bag with dirty towels and sheets and started yelling at cleaning lady in Mandarin (?) in front of us— he scared my son and generally — it wasn’t nice and professional to do this — in serious hotel he would have been fired for such stunts (I even suspected that they all came to split my generous tips left for the cleaning lady, because she wasn’t happy they showed up). It wasn’t perfect.

Está muy cerca de la playa. Las habitaciones son confortables y limpias. El baño impresionante ! Una piscina muy linda. A 100 metros del mar. EXCELENTE OPCIÓN !

Facilities very clean. Beach chairs, towels and umbrella were a nice bonus. Walk to beach. A great stop over spot.

Had great time. Great location close to everything.

Nice hotel close to beach. Take the quick ride to south beach.

Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is about a block to beach/park area. Walking distance to shops & restaurants.

The hotel is LONG past its best days. You may drive past it as it does not match the listing and reviews. Looks like a 1950/60s building that is in need of a tear down and rebuild. The kind of place you would get in the Mid-west for $35 night but not in Miami Beach. It was a place to spend a night but did not linger, the area is not that comforting. The good thing was that parking is available and free, a rare thing in this vicinity.

We were told that we were getting a room with a kitchenette, but it only had a mini fridge and microwave, just like standard hotel. Also, the shower took 10 minutes to get warm. Finally, there were limited television channels offered with old movies and not one sports channel. I was very disappointed overall.

We ended up checking out and not staying. Wife and I did not think the place was that bad, but there were insects in the room and this freaked out the kids. I've known to expect this in and around Miami Beach (although the place we did end up staying a few miles north did not have this problem). The place is rather old (I'd guess 1950s) but, I thought, in good shape.

nice hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clean, quiet, and comfortable room!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needed to be in this neighborhood for one day. This was the best priced. Didn't use any amenities. (pool etc.) The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean. Good Value.

Stayed here, as I was apartment hunting. The hotel is abit far from the action but that was ok for me. The front desk lady was more than accommodating. She went out of her way to help out in a relaxed way. Rooms are clean but just ok. They seen more like studios and the hotel owners should upgrade the rooms to be nicer studio spaces. Overall, clean but you better have a car to get around.

Our tip is right before the Thanksgiving week. So it's not very crowded. The room is tidy, clean. They provide free parking and location is very convenient to restaurants and beach.

This clean and comfortable hotel was really only missing a breakfast included BUT there was a coffee machine and refrigerator to make it homey (no micro, but OK). They were friendly and helpful (didn't get a chance to try out the pool - rain and thunder). DO bring your bike, rollerblades, walking shoes - there is a wonderful park within a half block on the beach side. I biked about 3 miles, not crowded, found Publix for groceries - Great time, would go here again when visiting Miami Beach.

quiet and clean, nothing special but a good quality/price balance, considering the position!
