The outward appearance
The entire inside smelled of Marijuana. The property is located a pretty sketchy part of Memphis, however they do have private security rotating through several of the parking lots. Staff was very helpful, let us see the room beforehand, and came fixed the tv when I pushed a wrong button. The room was cleanish, as in beds were clean, but the vents had dust, and the trip had dust. It did well in a pinch as we couldn't find any other room in Memphis to accommodate 2 adults and 3 teenagers. It is located within minutes of the autobahn go karts which we were going to.
was a poorly run hotel
the room was dirty 6 inch hole in carpet, lamp on wall did not work,,another lamp did not have a lamp screw and the light bulb flickered, the ice machine was leaking and had a puddle of water in front of it, the staff was not friendly. will not stay at that one ever again
First off, I tried calling the front desk staff prior to arriving to the hotel and never reached anyone. The hotel room had holes in the walls, cigarette burns in the sheets and floor [non-smoking rooms might I add] no pillow cases or towels til the last night of my stay, I was checked me out of my room on the second day without my knowledge of it. Some of my food items were thrown away in the process from the fridge. The bed was poorly made upon first arrival with pillows and sheets thrown in a pile on the bed. The furniture was in poor condition with stains and damage. The walls were thin enough to hear everything going on in the next room. I wouldnt recommend this one at all.
Property under construction not the most convenient at the moment hallways open with no flooring in place stairways blocked off, still can’t find the elevator, doors to the inside of the building not closed or locked. The room was clean and pleasant, bathroom was clean no mold *****OK******
We couldn’t stay here. We walked in and it was dimly lit and smelled very heavily of pot. We decided to try the room and it was no better. Someone had shoved tissue in the peephole so you couldn’t see out. Not the kind of place we felt comfortable with our kids, so we asked for a refund and found something more family friendly.
Had to cancel this visit! Plan to visit in the future!
The room had visible damage too the walls and the drywall was cracked
My husband checked in and was assigned to a room that had no assembled bed, mattresses leaning against the wall, tv on, and reeked of bug spray!!! They moved him to a different room, but surfaces were not clean, breakfast items were not cooked well. This was generally a very bad experience!
Very convenient and affordable for a one night stay.
Comfortable beds Beds were comfortable and the rooms are clean
The 2 stars come from the breakfast, only because it stayed stocked and was a hot breakfast buffet. This hotel definitely wasn’t worth what we paid. The carpets felt gross and the walls were dirty. We specifically chose a room with a pull out sofa because we have 4 kids. We opened the couch and it was so dirty! Crumbs and dirt all over, like it hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Because of that, we had to squish 4 kids on one bed. It smelled musty and like stale smoke. The air conditioner didn’t cool the whole room. We travel often and we have stayed in better hotels for less. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially since there are so many in the area. Not even worth a quick overnight stay. I wish I would have read the reviews first.
Nice place to stay overnight when passing through!
Staff was very helpful, but my room had a very strong mildew smell that made it uncomfortable They had a hot breakfast but ran out of eggs and other items, didn't seem to be anyone in charge of that.
The carpet was disgusting. The bottoms of our socks were black.
The hotel staff were very friendly. The location was great. What could be improved on is the smoke smell. The popcorn in the lobby helps,(the kids loved the popcorn) but I'm very sensitive and have kids with asthma. My suggestion is: maybe having automatic airfreshners throughhout the building would balance things out. But overall, we had a nice stay and would stay again. Thanks!
After the kids work hard for their win in the basketball tournament, the luxurious comfort of the beds was just what we all needed. They were soft but supportive in the right places. If I could have fit it in my car it would have went home with me ;) And the pillows, love love love them. I must find out where to buy one. The continental breakfast was delicious. The gentleman who readied it I never got his name but he was a delight. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!
hotel not as presented. needs updating, wallpaper coming off wall, carpet was dirty, location not as presented. breakfast could be better. Staff very nice and accommodating. As a single female senior citizen was not comfortable with location. not located in area I had decided on. I expect better from this chain, I use them quite often.
Memphis was our intended stop as we drove south on our road trip. We arrived really late in the evening, but luckily someone was there to smoothly check us in. There were also plenty of parking spaces available. Luckily we were able to get additional toiletries since we had forgotten ours (toothpaste...). Breakfast was filling and pretty good. I can never complain about a free breakfast that serves warm food. Overall, it was a good stay for our needs. It's not ideal for the traveller looking to stay near downtown, but it is perfect for those who are in need of a comfortable place to stay overnight.
