Will stay here again
The hotel was very nice and the staff was helpful.
Location, condition and facilities of the hotel are fine. My only concern was that the room I was given for 3 nights felt claustrophobic as it didn't have any view but the inside. I asked the front desk and they said they're fully booked but I noticed some guests checking-in late in the evening and they were getting the rooms with the view. I requested if they could transfer me on the next day and I spoke with the chambermaid cleaning a room with a view opposite ours, but the front desk said the same - no room available.
The hotel is nice, restaurant food was great but inside the rooms, its rediculously noisy. If you need to sleep, dont stay here. I suppose its ok if your getting hammered and pass out People outside drive motorcycles around that area all night constantly revving their engines non stop. They play music so loud it will make things in the room vibrate. I would personnaly never stay there again or recommend it to anyone. That is purely my opinion.
Front desk ladies are so helpful and sweet. Room was super clean and the hotel is beautiful and located in a great area of downtown. Plenty of thing to do and restaurants to visit within walking distance.
All manner of awful.
Great location, lots of to do within walking distance
Staff was rude, valet didn’t exist unless you went looking for them. No help with bags or service in general.
Great location
I actually love this hotel. I stay here every time I’m in Memphis. I’ve never had any issues. But when I came down to get my car at 3:45am to head to the airport to catch my 6am flight, I was told sorry, the valet doesn’t get here until 6am. The gal at the desk asked if I was an early check out and I said no, what is that. She explained that if I had been, they would’ve left my car out front. I asked how was I supposed to know this, and she said the valet was supposed to ask me when he parked my car. Well, he didn’t, there were no signs and when I was checked in no one asked me. The gal wasn’t pleasant and said she could call the valet but he lives far out and it would take him an hour to get there. I said please do because I need to return my car and catch my flight. Apparently she couldn’t get a hold of him so I went back to my room. To get on a different flight was going to cost me $900 ! Around 4:30am the gal called my room and said the valet had arrived if I still wanted my car. I ran downstairs only to find that he was already fetching someone else’s car. Is this a habitual problem? Did the gal at the desk lie to me about it taking him an hour to get there? At this point I didn’t care I just wanted my car! I finally got in my car about 5am. I am completely dissatisfied with how this was handled and the lack of professionalism of the gal at the counter. Also shame on Hilton for not having better practices when valet is the only option.
Super clean, comfy beds, high quality bedding, beautiful bathroom, super quiet. Short walk to Beale Street, just far enough away to be insulated from the nightlife sounds.
Check in is at 3:00 p.m., our room was not ready till after 8pm, We had to demand a temporary room just so we could change and shower so we could go to dinner while we waited for our room i be cleaned. No discounts or upgrades were offered, we asked and we were denied any sort of compensation.
What a great stay we've had at the Canopy! Staff is really friendly, rooms are really, really clean and very modern. Hotel is located within walking distance to Beale St. We'll definitely stay here again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I wish all of our rooms had a view but they do not. We have to honor the room type that a guest made their reservation even if they check-in later in the evening. Our premium rooms have a view and this is a different room type. When a guest reserves a particular room type, we must do everything in our power to honor that commitment no matter what time they arrive. I apologize that due to occupancy we were not able to change your room and I appreciate you sharing your experience. Our guest feedback is the only way we can improve.
