Clean hotel but in the Expedia website they made a point about breakfast included. This hotel was about $14 higher that similar hotels within a mile and I choose it because of the convenience of having breakfast instead of looking for a breakfast place in a new city. After contacting Expedia a few days ago, I still get the run around and to make it more painful, it still advertise free breakfast

This motel is poorly maintained with trash and mud in the hallways and parking lot. Landscaping is unkempt. Room was not well cleaned with dirty corners even in the bathroom. Towels were poor quality. No soap, shampoo. Furniture is old and scuffed up. It did not smell bad. I was surprised by a $100 service charge for our 2 dogs which I do not think was on the website. Choice Hotels should consider dropping this hotel.

If you want a cheap place, this is it

They had smoking rooms which we liked. The beds had holes in the sheets and bed covers. Also we booked a double bed which would allow for 4 people. Yet we were only given 1 towel, 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel which were so thin you'd have a hard time drying yourself. No bath soap, hair shampoo. Very thin toilet paper. Also, 7 am and no coffee or any food was prepared. The room was spacious.

I selected this hotel based on three criteria: Safe, pet friendly, and breakfast included. I paid for the room through Expedia as was required. When I got to the property at 10:30pm, the young man at the desk was very nice, but let me know that I needed to pay. I was really tired, so I thought, "Maybe Expedia didn't charge?" I gave him my credit card. When I got to the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. Some of the lamps didn't work. The refrigerator had mildew growing on it, and the bed was super uncomfortable. I didn't say anything because I was exhausted and just wanted sleep. The next morning, I checked my bank account and saw that I had indeed paid for the room twice. I went downstairs for breakfast, and the front desk guy said, "We don't serve breakfast any longer." When I went to check out, there was a lovely woman working at the desk. I let her know that I was inadvertently charged twice. This woman went NUTS on me. She told me that was impossible and I was lying. It got really ugly, my stay was terrible, and now I need to figure out how to get a refund! NEVER STAY HERE.
