Only downfall is the parking situation. Aside from that. It's great

Pay Too much for parking Someone was in my room while I was out and returned. Security is an issue.

Breakfast great. Bar could have better open hours.

Close to the river and major attractions in downtown. A little inconvenient to take two elevators to reach my room on the 4th floor but I understand with the layout of the property - no big deal. Good breakfast, convenient location, friendly staff, super nice room - spacious.

We had a great time and experience staying at Springhill hotel. Convenient location, friendly and professional staff. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, checking was fast and convenient. They have a Great breakfast buffet!

The staff were very friendly. And the were also very helpful. Springhill Suites By Marriott Memphis Downtown was very clean. The breakfast was very good. They had a nice lobby. It was nice that they had a store where you could buy stuff.

Our room was spacious, with two double beds and an office area, but was located in the "other" building. We had to take an elevator to the third floor, walk across a hallway to the next building, then take another elevator to our room on the fourth floor. Not the end of the world, but something I hadn't encountered before. The parking lot is about 1/4 mile away from the hotel, and based on our experience I would recommend self-parking rather than valet parking. The valiant valets were overworked, and there were large back-up of cars to be parked and fetched from the remote lot. The staff attributed this to turnover, and perhaps the problem has been addressed. One morning there was a charity run, and the streets around the hotel were closed for awhile. We waited for over an hour for our car, until at least 30 minutes after the race was over, and finally I hunted it down in the remote lot and drove it back myself. The facilities are decent and clean, but not luxurious, and my overall impression is that the room was somewhat overpriced. No major reason to not stay there again, but probably not my first choice in the downtown Memphis area.

Easy walking distance to Beale St., Sports center, places to eat

Our stay was decent. I was mote distracted by the fact that it took me about 10 tries to find my room since the instructions of the staff were unclear, the halls smelled horrible in some parts, the vallet was sweet but slow, and my room was freezing cold the entire time . We called maintenance but by time we made it back to our room, maintenance had gone home for the day. I filed a complaint and got a discount on my room however there is no way that I could believe that all of the rooms were taken in a seven floor hotel room on a Tuesday night with a strip of other hotels immediately adjacent to it.

The hotel was clean and had a nice breakfast. Great for families with small kids. There is a park across the street to run the little ones around. We were walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Great value and location.

Great experience, helpful staff, good breakfast, and close to attractions.

It was a good stay- price was in line. My only issue was no "HOT" water just warm for the shower - Bathrooms clean just out dated

Within walking distance of Beale Street and other bars and restaurants.

Perfect setup for two on business. Privacy (2 bedrooms) and great working space in the room.

Nice hotel, nicely located! Good transportation to and from various sites and venues.

We had a good time at the hotel. Its location was terrific, and the room was just what we had hoped for.

Very friendly staff nicely decorated public spaces, great location, great variety at the free breakfast. The room was very nice and comfy. I hadn't realized we'd have to pay for parking, and the lot was a block away, but you pay $15/ day and can go in and out. Not many interesting restaurants close by. We really enjoyed the National Civil Rights Museum and Sun Studio.

we had a nice visit, clean hotel and great location for downtown memphis

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Quality food, wide selection, clean food. Couldn't believe breakfast was free. Valet parks your car. Would stay there again. Only negative was Memphis itself does not seem very safe. Sirens all night. Jaywalkers day and night dart in front of car like they hope to be hit.
