Love it, the service was great. Can’t wait to return next year.

Beautiful views, Some of the most courteous staff we have ever had the pleasure to be around. Great fishing! Nice little reefs to snorkel that were easy to get to. Great sea food. Wonderful place!

Beautiful hotel on the outside, very outdated and smelled of mold and mildew inside. The room had ripped towels and we found bed bugs in one of the beds. Because it is a wyndham owned hotel you expect there to be a level of maintenance and cleanliness which is not there. The grounds are gorgeous the architecture and location are with out a doubt the reason I gave it a 3 if they were to update the rooms I'm sure they would get the 4 star rating from anyone.

This was our second visit to the Grand Bay Hotel. They were out of the confirmed room type so upgraded us to an incredible full suite with wonderful views of the marina. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We definitely will go back again.

Make sure your reservation is for 2 guess when you make orbits reservation

I loved the hotel. Our stay there was wonderful. The staff was great.

Loved the facility although it has a little wear visible. Does need a little updating. The staff were wonderful and took good care of our needs. The hotel food was very good. Beautiful restaurant with gourmet touch. The beach in front is very user friendly.

We received top notch treatment from the moment we stepped into the door. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful at every turn. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. We will definitely return.

Spent an totally enjoyable week staying at the resort in Barre de Navidad. This is a low-key, quiet place--don't expect loud games in the pool, or night time parties. If you are looking for a quiet leisurely week by the pool; beautiful views; access to beaches; and great restaurants only a taxi ride away--this is the place for you. The staff are exceptionally cordial. The rooms are a great value for the $$. I wouldn't recommend all-inclusive. The room and breakfast is sufficient, there are too many local restaurants you will want to try!

This is an amazing resort in a beautiful, away-from-it-all setting w/lush landscaping. The 4 of us (active seniors) felt safe here and in nearby small towns. 5-star ratings for Antonio's and The Terrace restaurants & dining room breakfast buffet; views/setting, rooms (Grand Deluxe w/balcony very nice) & pleasant/helpful staff. Easy access by water taxi to nearby restaurants and Barra de Navidad, where we enjoyed good restaurants, bars, inexpensive shops for souvenirs, clothing, & jewelry, and taxis to nearby towns. Chartered fishing far less $$ than in Cabo/bigger towns; saw whales/dolphins. Fishing disappointing; better in late year. Resort lacks nice shops, stamps & mailing services, advice & handouts for activities/events nearby, but we found what we needed online and from other guests. Small boutique and tiny market have bare minimum items for benefit of boaters docked in harbor. Boaters enjoy low-cost docking fees. Golf course is great/uncrowded, but not very green. Golf club is a large, amazing facility, although not put to full use (would be great for events). This place is a hidden gem. Needs a few updates & not suitable for handicapped unless stay only in the resort in an easy-access room (many stairs/steps/hallways between buildings; would be difficult to get to or on/off water taxis); elevators in each building, but many steps between buildings, elevators and pools, etc. Families enjoyed; not for active age 18-30. Regardless of few drawbacks, likely to come again.

Have stayed at Isla Navidad Hotel many times. Close to everything. Can take bus to Manzanillo, Colima and other nearby towns.

Fabulous facility but needs lots of maintenance Loved the fabulous free breakfast buffet

Visited this hotel about 6 yrs ago and was very impressed. Decide to take my family there for christmas 7 adults. Booked 4 rooms three with king bed and one with 2 double beds.when arrived were told they have only single and no double available. Ask for roll away and were told they do not fit in rooms. Were assinged to a family area with nothing but small childred very noisy. Hotel now has an all inclusive option which most people seem to book.what was once a quite well run facility is now gone.purchased a 20 round golf package that must be paid in advance .when asked about their golf special were told that this was only for Canadians and not available to the US. What was once an outstanding course now suffers from a lack of attention. Ate most of our meals in Barra which was great. Hotel food just average. Will not be recommending this facility to people in the US.

Have been there 5 times in the last 8 years. It has always been good but was the best this time.

Very nice... Very relaxing to get away from the routine .

Exellent resort, very good restaurants, our stay was very pleasant and relaxing

Great remote tropical location. Staff very friendly and attentive. Fantastic breakfast Buffett. Short water taxi ride to Barre.

Well, I stayed here 6 days and had an overall great experience. But... there are a few things that need to be fixed for this place to live up to all the hype. Our first night here we had diner at the hotel rest. Food was good but took 45 mins to be ready. The next days we had diner at dif restaurants at Barra de Navidad. One day we had lunch by the pool. I had the most horrible pizza ever. The cheese was distgusting and the bread was kind of wet? Ughh. The hotel grounds are absolutely gorgeaus and well kept. The pool is like a river interconnected by slides. The beach its like any normal Pacific coast beach: bland. The rooms are very comfy but the ac doesnt get as cold as I would like and the shower leaks water in the bathroom from under the door so we had to "carpet" the floor with towels. There was an "alacran" in out tub. I had room 508 and the view is really pretty. The wifi only works in the lobby and pool area. I would come back, but they have to update the rooms and fix little details like the ones I stated above. This hotel is not for party animals. Its for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Great golf, food, beaches, pools. Don´t need much more than that. We go 2-3 times a year (twice already this year) , with both friends and family. It helps that it is only a 4 hour drive from home.

We had three rooms and all of us enjoyed the great week at the Grand Bay Resort. The daily breakfast buffet was superb. The nearby golf was great fun. We also took advantage of a great day of fishing. The only downside was the hours I have spent on the phone with my credit card company and Wyndham resorts because the credit card I used at check-in was charged for the same charges that I paid with a different credit card at check-out. The hotel needs to pay greater attention to making sure that it is not double charging when two credit cards are used.
