The Marbella Hotel in Manzanillo is a beautiful and cozy hotel, located directly at the pacific coast of Manzanillo / Mexico. the stay The Marbella Hotel is located at the middle of the tourist center of Manzanillo and has a lot of room types. We stayed here for one week in a cozy room with two queen size beds and a balcony with ocean view. They have also rooms with three queen size beds and rooms with king size beds. Every room is decorated with nice pictures and the beds are crested with a big shell on the wall. Altogether the rooms look very nice and they were always cleaned when we came back from our tours through the city. The Marbella Hotel has two pools which are very well maintained and clean. They also have a restaurant where you can get very delicious seafood. Also you can eat at the buffet for little money, what we didn’t do. By the way, the club sandwich is a very good choice which I allways want to eat again. At the weekends there are more local Mexican families at the hotel to enjoy the ocean and the sun. During the week there weren’t many people at the hotel so it was very quiet. The staff at the Marbella Hotel is very helpful and friendly. The check-in was very uncomplicated although we came very late to this place. Also the checkout was very uncomplicated too and for our transit they called us a taxi. the surrounding Near the Marbella Hotel is the “La Marina” Mall where you can find a lot of things to eat. There are two Asia food stores, a typical Mexican food store, a Carl Jr. Burger store and other things… By the way, try the mini donuts at the first floor of the mall. They are very delicious and cheap. At least we spend one week at the Marbella Hotel in Manzanillo / Mexico and we love it! The sound of the Ocean at night is awesome and the feeling there is very good.

Friendly, helpful reception staff. Nice, comfy beachfront room with balcony. Would have liked a coffee maker and fridg. Hot shower. Enjoyed our evenings watching pelicans dive bombing for food--quite a show! Beautiful sunsets. Huge gorgeous full moon while we were there. Dangerous undertow but big pounding waves to lull you to sleep. On site restaurant. 2 pools with tables & chairs and recliners. Cleaning staff did wonderful job.

This fabulous hotel is right on the beach in a very nice, very safe area of Manzanillo. The family that owns and operates this hotel takes considerable care to insure the comfort and happiness of each guest. The hotel is well maintained and a great deal of work has been done in the last two years to update the rooms and bathrooms. My room was very nice and had a balcony that looked out at the Pacific, it was fabulous! One morning a humpback whale came swimming along, she even had a calf with her! They stayed around for about an hour, it was fabulous! The hotel has two dining rooms, Los Redes for more casual dining and El Marinero offering wonderful Spanish food. The waitstaff speaks English and are extremely helpful in choosing the Spanish dishes offered. Dining on the terrace overlooking the ocean was an special delight. (Saw a whale from this terrace too!) The Reception desk can help in arranging water sports (kayaking, sunset sight seeing, etc.) and now something new, they can arrange land tours to some fabulous places not far away. The land tours are a great way to get to know this beautiful part of Mexico. Shopping is great and there are numbers of stores close by within walking distance of the hotel. Taxis are an easy and economical way to get around, be sure to check the Taxi Rate sheet posted in the Reception area. It was a great help to know the fare before using the Taxi. This is a safe hotel in a safe area. The hotel has it's own security force both day and night. 10pm is when things quiet down and there was never a problem with noise, the security force was always evident to keep things in order. The Staff of this hotel is wonderful, they seem to enjoy their guests very much. They are a friendly group of people who made me feel very welcome. I was sad to leave!

Hotel was full of professionals and working people on per diem. Breakfast was good. book online before arriving as it is about 1/2 the price verses walking up with no reservation. pool was tiny but satisfying.

We spent 4 days here. Our room balcony was quite large and faced the ocean. At times you could feel the crash of the waves vibrate in the room. I spent most of my evenings out there. The surf crashing in was amazing. Down the road are a couple of good restaurants and a shopping mall. About 20-30 minutes further down (walking) there is more restaurants and another mall as well as WalMart. The rooms were very clean and looked well maintained. There is a restaurant and a dining room both equally good. We dined in the evening in the dining room and the food was excellent. Service was the best. Everyone was so friendly.

we have been staying in Manzanillo for a 5 day holiday for 12 years now. first time at this hotel. We rate it excellent. friendly staff, clean rooms, good restaurant, great view of the ocean. peaceful & relaxing. wish it would take a pet.

Third time here, but not the last. We like this place so much, this year we brought friends. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The balcony is huge and great for just sitting and watching the ocean, or getting together to play cards. One of our friends got to see a whale while having her morning coffee. The bathroom changes weren't well thought out. They have a glass half wall and it doesn't quite reach the bottom so when the water drips, it leaks onto the floor. I just asked the maid for another towel and laid it against the gap. Worked like a charm. Housekeeping caught on to what I was doing and started to lay a towel down when she cleaned the room. I mentioned it was one couples 25th anniversary and they decorated the room for them. They don't normally do this, but since this was our third trip out there, they surprised us. Some of our friends were bitten by sand fleas or mosquitoes but we weren't. I guess it depends on the person if they will be a pest or not. The pools are clean and refreshing, and plenty of seating area around the pool. They have umbrellas and chairs set up on the beach for the guests. There are only three, so go early if you want one. (I think they need a few more as they are always taken.) On weekends there is someone who comes in and sets up a trinket stand. I purchases some really nice beaded earrings for 50 pesos. The only place I found them. The food at the restaurant was pretty good but we found it a tad expensive. We would go out for breakfast or get coffee from the Kisko next door. Always fresh. The hotel is located in the center of all the action. To the left is Santiago and the beaches, to the right is Manzanillo and the port. Restaurants are within walking distance and the bus stops at the end of the driveway. The staff is excellent. Especially Silvia who helped us out greatly with a booking problem before we arrived. She speaks excellent English so there is no miscommunication. Because I messaged her in the past, she went above and beyond her job description by communicating with me through facebook to make sure everything was taken care of so we would have not problems when we arrived. I will be dealing direct with her from now on instead of going through the internet travel site I used. I would recommend this Hotel to everyone.

If on one of your trips ends up in Manzanillo and you are looking for an average price, a good beach front, and a good restaurante, hotel Marbella is where you want to be. We travel a lot in Mexico, especially around the pacific coast, and we really enjoy our stay at hotel Marbella. The price is fair for what we got. The rooms are average, but from most of them you can see the ocean. Personally I like their shower space. From the pool area, The views are beautiful at sunset and at night because you are able to see all lights around the bay because it has a cover open area and a beach uncover area. Although, if you are like us that like to get in the ocean, and do not want to take the time to go to a different beach for swimming, this is not the place for you. The waves are high and it looks like they may be under currents that makes this part of the beach dangerous to swim, so we drove 10 minutes north to Santiago beech to enjoy the ocean. Now, if you are only looking for the sea view with a nice pool area, this will be right for you. In addition the food at the restaurant is grate and tasty. For breakfast they offer buffet or a la cart items. Chilaquiles and the scramble eggs where my favorite. The menu for dinner is Spanish and you can get from a good tortilla española to a grate paella.

We really liked this Hotel , within walking distance of everything, we first got a room on the second floor of the far left building but we changed to 310 on the main floor by the pool , room was great and newer, had a problem with the air conditioning but was fixed within 5 minutes, it caters to locals from Mexico city and Guadalajara and it can get noisy on weeekends but hey its their country and we dont mind the noise, great cleaning staff, and front desk , did not try the restaurant , its a bit on the expensive side at 160 pesos for breakfast, we walked to different reataurants in the area, one of our favourites Don Julios, and El Fogon , we will definitely go back when in Manzanillo

The pools were WONDERFUL. Waterfalls, sun beds, the whole shebang. The hotel should invest in some nicer chairs near the pool, though. Be careful: Although the hotel advertises "beach access," be aware that this doesn't mean that you can swim on the beach. Yes, it is a beachfront hotel with a lovely pool next to the beach, but the beach itself is not safe to swim on due to the rip currents. It is, however, pleasant to walk along.
