Great location, friendly staff, comfortable room. Museum bar is excellent, a trip back in time.

Horrible experience with customer service after my flight got cancelled on the way to Spain. I called to change my reservation as soon as I found out. The customer service agent at the hotel told me "its not our problem your flight got cancelled", and she refused to not charge me for our first scheduled night because it was less than 24 hours notice (it was 22 hours). I required 2 hours of many calls to the corporate office in the US before they refunded my money for the night I missed. I would expect better service from a high end hotel especially since I was still planning on keeping my reservation at the hotel for the rest of my time in Madrid.

Zero negative comments. Friendly professional staff, large comfortable clean room.

Beautiful hotel and excellent service, especially from Front Desk attendants (Thank you, Javier!). Good exchange rate for USD to Euros. Location was convenient for enjoying the park and all the museums.

We were assigned an interior view room, which was ugly. We asked to be moved two days in a row, both unsuccessful. Other than that the hotel was good.

The Westin Palace is a very nice hotel in perfect location. Room was a little small for 3 people, but very comfortable.

Very classy hotel in a great location. Room was very clean and comfortable.

We decided to splurge and spend the last two nights of our vacation in a luxury hotel. What a perfect way to cap off a wonderful time in Madrid.

This is a wonderfully located hotel in Madrid, walking distance from many tourist attractions, staff was impeccable as well as service, rates are incredible compared to their rack rate, a bargain. Great bar and restaurant, although my recommendation is go to small local spots to really savor the city.

The Westin Palace in Madrid was just like many Westin hotels in the States: staff are English-speaking and helpful; our room was spacious comparing with European standard; housekeeping was first class; recently remodeled rooms are comfortable. The location was convenient with the major museums near by, and to go out to the tapas bars in the evening. The lack of complementary WiFi in all hotel rooms was inconvenient to guests and not up to the standard of an European 5 star hotel.

Hotel was centrally located. The room and service was excellent. Only (very slight) complaint was the cost of incidentals - internet, drinks etc...

This is a fabulous hotel with old charm and extremely well preserved. Friendly an competent staff too.

The hotel is magnificent, amazing space and the best location in town. Rooms are large and comfortable, big and modern bathrooms. Needs more staff - no one to carry your bags through the obligatory flights of stairs to the elevators, small staff at concierge and check-in. Long waits there.

Our stay at the Palace Hotel was excellent! The staff were very helpful for any needs we had, they speak English or Spanish, and the location was perfect for walking the historical district. We felt very safe. We had easy access to taxis, Atocha train station 10 minutes walk, and eateries everywhere. Sleeping was quiet and peaceful. This was a very accommodating hotel, even received an upgrade in room, a refrigerator added, when they didn't have our reservation. We printed out our confirmation with our online company, and they used that. Only slight inconveniences were that free WiFi access was in the lobby only, and no ice machines for cold beverages. You have to empty the stocked refrigerator to find space for Coke or water. Having said that, we would definitely stay here again!

Great location! Very clean and comfortable. Free internet in the bussines center.

Staff was very helpful. Location was great. Bed was incredibly comfortable!

We had a great room on 4th floor-- quiet, roomy, excellent bed, wonderful bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful with our questions, and the location was perfect for us.

When you first walk into the hotel , you are struck by the clean and beautiful lobby. Next the very attentive staff goes out of their way to get you registered into the hotel. As you go up to your room, you are struck by the beautiful decorations in the hallways. The very attentive room staff sees to any of your needs through out your stay. Well worth the money that you pay pay for your stay. The location was perfect for what we wanted to see. We are looking forward to our return

The Westin Palace Madrid is a beautiful and elegant hotel with a great location and friendly and accommodating staff. However, I did not experience the restaurant or lounge/bar due to the exorbitant prices.

The service was wonderful - everyone was extremely helpful and delightfully friendly. I do wish though that there were fewer knocks on the door (one person with water, one with towels, one with soap, one to check the minibar...). The prices for food and beverage was very very high ($25 for a cocktail, $40 for breakfast, $20 for a grilled cheese sandwich). Location couldn't have been better - and the beds were heavenly.
