It was okay. I thought it was a 4 or 5 stars, but it was the review 4.5. For a two stars it was okay, my preference is 4-5 stars hotel. I believe orbitz needs to make the website to be easy to select how many start the customer want to selected. The hotel is in a great position. Not bad, great customer service.

The staff was really nice in the front desk. The location is amazing about 300 yards from SOL. Everything and anything is within a 2-5 mins walk.

The staff went out of their way to help us and they even offered tips about Madrid, the food and getting around. They were very warm and welcoming, answering each of our questions patiently. The room and the bathroom were large. Thr location was at the center of the city and you can just walk everywhere.

Very nice and clean hotel. Great location. Beautiful interior design. Comfortable beds. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good breakfast. Definitely recommend to other travelers

We had already spent 5 days in this hotel while in Madrid and then on our return back home spent the last night again at this hotel. We clearly could have booked a different hotel for this final night but so thoroughly enjoyed this hotel it was a no-brainer to return here for the last night in Spain. A near perfect location in Madrid for tourists at a hotel with great customer service and fantastic staff!

"Boutique" style hotel in a near perfect location within a 5 minute walk of both Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. And around the corner from San Gines

Excellent hotel and location. They deserve 4 stars

Great location, right in the town center with walking distance to two metro stations. Rooms are fairly new & are comfortable overall. We had 2+2, so they pulled out the sofa bed. I think the size of the room would be more suited for just 2 people.

Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and friendly hotel staff. Also, a great location for shopping and restaurants.

We stayed here during semana santa. About 30-45' from airport, traffic can be a challenge and during crowded afternoons and evenings you may have to walk a few blocks as the street in front of the hotel is a pedestrian mall and is closed to vehicle traffic during peak times. Staff was very attentive. Common areas of hotel are beautiful. We stayed in 4-person rooms, which are large and reasonably comfortable. During late March A/C not functioning, room did get a little stuffy and warm. Couldn't keep window open at night due to street noise. We got locked out of our room one Saturday evening when the door lock battery died. Cost us about an hour of time, but they did get someone over to fix it. Didn't try breakfast -- at 15 Euros/person very expensive for Spain. There's a good Starbucks a block away. Overall would happily stay here again. We much prefer this type of lodging over a big chain. Do be careful when walking around this area -- lots of pickpockets due to number of tourists. Keep wallets and cell phones inside zippered pockets or inside pockets of jackets.

Clean modern and friendly. Bring ear plugs. Walls are thin. Great location.

We were on the 4th floor of this hotel for 2 nights facing the Calle del Arenal. The room was clean and comfortable but it was extremely loud at all hours of the day- literally people yelling from 11pm through 5am in the street and then delivery trucks, garbage trucks, etc from 5-8am. I would only suggest staying here if you can be guaranteed a room facing the back of the building. Also in the late morning/early afternoon the housekeeping team was moving around furniture which was very loud. we never got a break from noise.

Am a middle-aged woman travelling solo. Spent 4 nights here and it was a wonderful experience. Fantastic location where everything is in walking distance. Clean, modern, safe, air-conditioned. Some night noise, but it was in the middle of the World Cup and I found it energizing being in the middle of a lively, pedestrian area. Excellent bargain and I would definitely recommend. Only one thing I would have liked in the room--a small fridge for food and drink.

I have to agree with the reviews that are surprised this is listed as a two star hotel. I would expect it to be at least three stars. The staff were very helpful. The location and value combination were incredible. The taxi drivers were able to get us two doors down from the hotel, so that was no issue for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, comfy room, helpful staff, wifi and breakfast included!

staff was not great but still had a wonderful time

The room was small and not clean. The door to the room had a 1/2 gap at the top. The TV didn't work. The shower was too small. The bed was hard as a rock. It was on a main street, but it was where everyone partied so forget about sleep. I would not stay there again.

5th floor - all new rooms - NICE 1-4th - old rooms Good for the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best Location

Calle Arenal, 15 Madrid Madrid
