From the moment you step in, you can feel the artistic approach to everything in the hotel. The entrance gives you the feeling the you are welcomed, the receptionist and everyone else greets you with a smile, a thorough yet simple introduction is given before you check in to your room. Even the way the elevator is located is something to admire. The room is warm and cozy, the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom colors are inviting and relaxing, I bet you will spend longer than usual in the shower. The rooftop lounge is absolutely wonderful and they make you feel as if you’re a regular and friends with everyone there. The view is stunning and the atmosphere in general is amazing. I would definitely stay there again and will always remember how friendly the staff was.

Staff - by far you have some of the best, friendliest, and most positive staff I have experienced at any hotel. And I travel every week. The check in is excellent, smooth and friendly. The doormen always smiling and eager to give suggestions. Room - very stylish, clean, and extremely comfortable Food & bev - excellent selection and quality at fair prices. Value - good prices for such an experience, location, and level of service. Just don’t raise them on me. Extras - the little touches do a lot. The note in the room from staff, the welcome drink or sweets, the upgrade (thank you). But more importantly the unexpected level of service with the welcome emails and post departure emails. You by far our favorite hotel and we will be coming back.

A spotless visit with the kind attention of the front desk employees who were very polite and helpful… nothing was too much for them. We had lunch there and it was o.k. …. Given the note that had Michelin star… it wasn’t something extraordinary. Their breakfast buffet was adequate and it could be replenished with more options.

My wife and I were lucky enough to spend 3 nights here. I was in Madrid on our honeymoon with my wife. Luckily, we were upgraded to a spacious room with a welcome champagne. We were very grateful for their hospitality. The hotel interior was very modern which I liked the most. The bed was comfortable as well. Also, the location of hotel was nice for travelers, close to subway station and downtown Additionally, I was impressed by all staffs. They were friendly and extremely helpful. The maid ensured my room was immaculate on a daily basis. I enjoyed staying here and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a night away in Madrid so planned on a city centre location. The hotel was second to none! Decor and ambiance were perfect and location couldn't be any more central. The staff, from the doorman to reception, to restaurant to bar staff were attentive without being intrusive. A perfect balance. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was again very good. Very reasonably priced considering quality and location. Very happy to recommend.

The calm, quiet atmosphere and gorgeous views make the rooftop bar here a great end of day destination. Not for children or loud groups, this is more of an adult place and there’s a nice restaurant next door.

I'm a regular at the Westin in Madrid as I'm a Starwood frequent stayer. Saw a new option on the website and was happy to give it a try. Great location and a very beautiful property. The common areas are very stylish and the level of service is very high. Only reason for not giving a five review is that my room -- while comfortable and modern -- was very small and faced an interior courtyard. As an affiliated member of the SPG group, the benefits to elite members are not as set, so probably don't expect to receive an upgrade to a larger room. But do note, there are some other nice benefits for SPG members including a credit for a drink and laundry. I'd really like to come back in warmer weather as the seventh floor terrace is really nice. Just not this time of year!

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was wonderful. Just off Gran Via which was very convenient. Rooms were charming and hotel staff were extremely helpful. The views from the rooftop are very nice! Highly recommended.

This Spanish of Madridiard property is located in a quite street drawing down from the famous fountain. Every corner of the hotel tells a story with a soft background of music that play gently. The bar on the reception area with a shinning terrace is made for a drink as well a cigar relax moments.

We had the most wonderful stay at The Principal Madrid. My expectations were far exceeded from the moment we arrived and were greeted with such friendliness and professionalism. The hotel itself is beautifully done and felt like home, if it weren't for the fact that we were here to explore Madrid we could have easily stayed and enjoyed wonderful facilities and service provided by the staff. Our room was spacious and very well equipped and what a wonderful view we had looking at the iconic Metropolis Building on Grand Via. Wonderfully located with most sights in walking distance I highly commend the team at The Principal for making us feel very welcome and for your constant assistance whenever we needed. We hope to be back.
