Novotel Madrid Campo de las Naciones

Hotel block from the 70s. Some rooms renovated. Too expensive. Metro next to the hotel. Pullman next door looked better. Bar was terrible. What is their problem with smiling in Madrid? The metro takes you to the center but be awate you have to change the lines . Campo de las naciones station has a new name, feria de madrid which funnily is not made known in any map. So buzarre. Anyway, the shuttle is free, no need for a taxi, just wait for their shuttle. No shuttle for noon, they have a break, can you believe it? Just get two drivers. They just pay them 800 euros per month and are still to cheap to employ 2. Accor has always been a cheap hotel. So embarrassing. I am platinu. And will not frequent them anymore when the membership finishes.

I stayed 3 nights at this Novotel. Being Accor Platinum I just chose it to complete the nights for requalification. Good things : I paid 217 euros for three nights, good price ,for Madrid is full in November. Their pitiful Ibis was at 67 a night. Lol. So a Novotel was much better. I got a Suite Upgrade but the Suites are the only rooms not renovated...dooohhhh . So stay in an executive room, just better. Check in was efficient and fast. They even smiled. Not bad. They have a free airport shuttle, so do not pay 30 euros for a taxi. The shuttle arrives every 30 m ,so no drama. You do not need to call. The same takes you to the ibis (dont take the ibis...!). The hotel is in an area without any shops or whatever to do. There is a shopping center, 1 km away. the metro feria de madrid is around the corner, so in 40 m and 3 x changing the train (cant they think before they build a metro???) you are in madrid. No frills , drama hotel. Not a 4 star, but 3 is justifiable. Not my first choice, but prices are just a joke at this time. Metro is a plus. Winning ... Enjoy

Business class hotel, well located with the metro a 100 meters away. One of the girls at the front desk was sooo rude, the rest were ok. Very nice rooms, spacious, clean, modern. They offer free airport shuttle every 30 minutes.

Loved our stay here. We got complimentary early check in. Room was clean, wifi was super fast. The hotel was close to the airport and also close to a shopping mall, gas station and Mcdonalds ( About 10mins walk). Also they had a free shuttle to the Airport which we used. There was parking available but it wasn't free. Zero Complaints. Will return. Great Stay

Excellent when you're for a congress/convention in IFEMA/Feria de Madrid. Only 300m from the congress centre. Likewise an exellent connection to the airport, 10 minutes/ 3 stops by metro. And the hotel has also a free shuttle bus to the airport. The breakfast is good and service attitude spotless. Then cons then: the hotel is in very heavy use and therefore you can find out some worn out features in the building, corridores, rooms etc. And the prices are quite high when there's something going on in the IFEMA. The prices go down in times in between congresses. But why would you want to stay there then? This hotel is situated " in the middle of nowhere" for a tourist bound to Madrid and it's attractions.

I booked this hotel due to its location close to Baraja airport as I had to leave early. The hotel was very nice and the rooms clean and new. I had a few questions to the staff and I need to say those were very, very helpful and very polite. As I had some time in the afternoon I enjoyed the sunshine down at the pool - great! If I ever get a chance to stay in this area I will definitley book this hotel again!

Stayed hear while attending a conference. Positives Location is excellent for IFEMA and airport with proximity to metro and buses. There's a free airport than runs every 30 minutes. Modern bright hotel, clean and rooms are spacious for Madrid. Comfortable bed with nice pillows. Breakfast was good, lots of variety, lovely plentiful fresh fruit and healthier options. Excellent free wifi, fast and no problems accessing it in rooms Outdoor pool, I didn't use it but it looked nice although not massive. Helpful, friendly reception staff. Very reasonable price for Madrid Negatives Although metro is close, it's still about 30-40 minutes into town. No fitness suite on site, you have to go to a local gym that's about 15 minutes away. It put me off going. If that is something important to you, look elsewhere, it's not at all clear on their website! Anonymous hotel, I didn't mind that but if you're looking for a boutique feel this place is not for you. Overall impression This is a good hotel for the money and perfect if you want to be close to airport or IFEMA. I would stay here again.

Hotel was very easily accessible by car and a stones throw from the metro. Good service on arrival and rooms were clean and comfortable and allowed dogs. 2 swimming pools with bar and food. Good food in the restaurant, generally decent throughout

The rooms are plain but very clean. The breakfast is good, when the right staff are on, same with the bar. Perfect as 5 mins walk to congress centre for those exhibiting. Reception staff are very nice.

This hotel is very nice. Was clean, 2 pools with towels provided. Room was pleasant and cool with air con. Reception was very helpful when asked questions. The hotel is well located for the airport and the shuttle bus is free, just 15 - 20 minute ride. It's not central but there are some restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. The bar in the hotel is a bit pricey but I suppose it's expected of hotels. Worth staying at and it appears you can get metro if you wish to go into central Madrid.
