Lovely modern hotel around 2km from Madrid city centre, a pleasant walk with lots of restaurants and cafe bars along the way. Lovely room with wetroom in bathroom. Great choice of food for breakfast but I like hot food to be hot and unfortunately here it wasn't, may have been my timing. Lovely staff, very helpful. Great view from rooftop terrace, particularly at sunup.

We had a great stay at H10, the staff at the desk, the housekeepers and the breakfast service was amazing and exceeded our expectations for the price we paid so we were very happy. Unfortunately my strongest criticism is of the staff employed at the rooftop bar - which had amazing potential, amazing food, great views and atmosphere and almost everything going for it, except for the waiters and bartenders who were beyond rude, uninterested and overall unpleasant. I don't like to rant but I think it's unacceptable to be deliberately ignored by 3 different waiters who would divert their eyes as soon as they saw you try to signal them and walk away. We waited for over an hour before I went to ask the bar directly for our drinks order and was then told to sit down and wait to be served. Had it been busy I would have been more understanding but it was not busy and I cannot make excuses for their blatant rudeness and disregard for customer service. It's a shame that it only took 3 people to taint an otherwise lovely stay at a very clean and professional hotel. Ps. A special mention to the housekeepers who were so friendly and kept our room spotless.

Beautiful and trendy hotel in a developed well located area, walking distance from bus stops, trains, restaurants, parks etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well kept rooms as well as the entire premises. The roof top restaurant has an amazing view, the food and drinks were also amazing and well presented. Breakfast was complimentary however I felt like they lacked much options. And double beds pulled together for a couple was a huge no no.

This hotel is in a good location for the main sights - close to the park and not too far to walk to the Prado - there is a metro station close by as well. Our room had no view but was very comfortable and quiet - no noise at night. Breakfast was well provisioned and the bar prices were reasonable for a hotel of this quality - the roof terrace ( open 5 days a week not Mondays or Tuesdays please note) was spectacular. The tiny plunge pool was more a gimmick I feel ( did take my costume but didnt fancy parading around with all the drinkers close by - too many beautiful young things!) Would not hesitate to stay there again, quite handy to get back to the airport from Velazquez metro station. Note that many museums in Madrid close on Mondays - we used that day to make a trip to Toledo which was amazing and only 30 minutes by train from Atocha.

We arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in hour. We were told that the room will be available at 14:00. We returned at 14:00 and received a twin room even though we booked a double room. We asked for change and we had to wait for more than 1 hour, the staff from reception just ignored us, like we were invisible. The hotel is near Retiro Park, which is a lovely park. Has a beautiful rooftop bar with a city view. The pool is too small for the capacity of the hotel and has only 6 sun beds. The opening hours of the pool are limited, if you want to go in the morning you can't, because it opens only at 12. The breakfast was delicious and diversified, plenty of options for everybody including vegetarians. We enjoyed the stay at the hotel, except the incident from the first day and the pool.

Stayed at this hotel few months ago and it was the most wonderful experience ever! The location was ideal - literally a minute walk to the underground station. Rooms were a good size and were very clean. Had issues with the wifi when I first got there but the staff were very quick to resolve the issue. My favourite thing about the hotel was the roof top balcony. Got an amazing view of the city and was very chilled out with the music. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

This hotel was not what we expected. We arrived late at night and were put in a room which was suffering from a strange buzzing noise. We couldn't work out where it was coming from, so we reported it to the reception staff, who were completely dismissive of the issue and swore they couldn't hear it when they came up to the room to investigate. I suspect it has something to do with the ridiculous late night Russian mafia-style disco which is located next door. The cleanliness is average by Madrid standards, the breakfast was below par and the breakfast room itself was cramped; it was almost impossible to attract the attention of any of the staff in the breakfast room to order a coffee. The room was also freezing cold. On the upside, the location is good, and the bed was comfortable. That's it. Madrid has a number of good hotels (see my earlier reviews) but unfortunately this is not one of them.

Booked through Fleetway Travel we found this excellent city break, 4 nights at a really good price and sooo glad we did! Having never been to Madrid before, this hotel was not the easiest to locate arriving on the metro. The glass facade around the rooftop bar and pool area was our focal point to locate where we were heading. We liked this hotel a lot, it fulfilled our requirements, very clean, small but modern comfy rooms. Ours overlooked the busy road, yet you would never have known as the double glazing was a great noise filtrator. Reception staff the most helpful, gave us maps, recommended a traditional flamenco show and ordered us a taxi to reach. Great service and hospitality. Overlooking the Retiro park and an interesting walk into the city which is not far at all. Didn't use the roof top pool which is tiny, couldn't get a sunbed and people were sat after breakfast ready to grab them as soon as the area was declared "open". The roof top bar is great to watch the sun go down with huge G&T's! We ate here on our first evening, what a problem trying to get a table - it gets booked up quickly which is a shame for residents of the hotel. We were turned away twice and the waiter wasn't so friendly, quite abrupt - he had reserved tables with no one arriving soon. Do the lovely receptionist in the hotel lobby rang the restaurant and sent us back to the roof terrace where by magic one of the reserved tables was ours! Much to the annoyance of the waiter who didn't look too pleased that we were back! How rude. Overall loved the hotel, the menu at the roof terrace could be improved, chipstick crisps with each course......? Something more substantial please. Would definitely stay here again.

We've spent extended weekend in this hotel. We found it clean & elegantly decorated. Hotel location is very convenient - few minutes walk from the metro station & with Retiro Park just around the corner. The roof top bar is great for evening drink although swimming pool & sun terrace are really small. Only once we've been lucky enough to get free chairs there and have some dip in the pool (you cannot really swim there). Forget sun loungers - there are only six of them. The hotel staff is first class - very professional and accommodating.

The room was spacious, clean and modern with a modern bathroom. We stayed in a room with a poor view, but we did not pay extra for a city view so this was to be expected. the rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. The pool was lovely, although small and only 10 loungers, and the poolside bar was nice and spacious. Drinks were reasonably priced. The highlight of this hotel was the view from the rooftop terrace/pool bar. Very special views of Madrid and the retro park. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, worth a visit just for the view. Staff were friendly. Location was excellent, right next to the park and 1km from central madrid. Breakfast was varied and very fresh. Couple of gripes - rooms were cleaned early (which is not the problem) BUT the doors all slam and us very noisy early on. Always had to queue for loungers as so few. Overall good hotel.
