I stayed there in March with my family. A friend of mine booked the hotel for us. We got there after midnight and surprisingly at reception we were asked to show the credit card and ID of the payer! I tried to explain that booking.com has an option for booking for someone else and it is obvious that if someone has booked for me, I don't have his/her credit card/ID. But the guy wasn't even listening... Anyways, he made me make a phone call to my friend around 3 AM to ask him send a picture of his credit card and ID!!!! I have stayed in many hotels in different countries and never experienced this. VP Jardin, tell your staff that if someone books for you, no need to show the credit card or ID of the payer!!! I will NEVERE go to this hotel again. P.s. The hotel doesn't have a gym! They have 1 treadmill, 1 bike, 1 elliptical. No bars no dumbbells.

Beautiful hotel. Very relaxing atmosphere. Near the metro station: step in, and step out in the city centre. Very good value for money. Big rooms, very clean, big beds, confortable mattress, quiet rooms. The staff is amazing. The lady at the desk was always smiling, and she helped us with whatever information we needed.

I picked this hotel knowing it was spring break and I didn't want a hotel close to tourist stuff and full of students. Unfortunately it didn't work. Students knocking on doors, yelling in hallways till 2 or 3 in the morning, cycling in and out of rooms. It was terrible to try and sleep through and get up for work in the morning. Plus the hotel was kind enough to help me book a train to Toledo. Except he put in the wrong date and it wasn't caught till I was in the train station. So now I'm out 20 Euros. Rooms are big. Beds are ok (translate firm). It's a minute from a metro stop. Don't think I'd come back and I'm in Spain quite a bit.

I love this hotel. The staff are helpful and pleasant, my room was big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast has a huge assortment of everything you could want, plus made to order bacon, eggs, sausage. The location may not be in the very centre of the city, but it is directly on a intersecting metro stop, is within an easy walk to restaurants and shops, and it takes 30 seconds to hail a cab from the front door. I will be staying here again, and will recommend it to my friends.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in September- we were visiting my son in university. It was a nice visit and good location being close to where my son is staying. On departure we were given a loyalty card to use when we were back again. We booked a trip for early March but a severe snow storm in Ireland grounded all flights out of the country and we were unable to travel. We cancelled the hotel reservation and my son dropped around in person to inform the hotel. We were then most disappointed to discover that by inserting the promo code on the loyalty card we were given in September, that we were now on a rate with very strict rules attached. Under no circumstances would the hotel entertain letting us re book at a later stage. We felt very let down by the hotel as we had booked directly with them and it was in their hands to help us out. A point made by the hotel was that, despite us cancelling the hotel, the room we had booked was "blocked" and could not be sold to other travellers! This sounded strange to me! Unfortunately we will not be returning to this hotel and we will be advising other friends and family not to stay there also. For others using this site, I would just like you to be aware of the unbending attitude and advise to book elsewhere if at all in doubt. I do not post this review lightly as, I have stated earlier, it was a nice hotel, one we were prepared to return to but I felt very let down by the attitude towards our unforeseen circumstances.

The hotel has a good location, close to one of the university campuses. The sleep quality was excellent. You can choose your pillow from a list of six pillows with different material, height and firmness. Did not use the breakfast facility.

My 11 year old Son and I stayed here Friday - Monday in January on a trip to Madrid to go to watch a football match there. The hotel is in a bustling little town with lots of shops, bars, eateries etc. It's modern, spotlessly clean, bright and airy. We had a room on floor 6 with a small balcony overlooking the streets to the front of the hotel. There was no traffic noise in the room and very little noise from other rooms. The room had a TV with a vast range of Spanish channels - most English Premier League and Primera Liga matches were shown live. The rooms are spacious, large bathroom for a hotel, good shower, air con and free safe. The hotel bar is small but pleasant with a large TV showing sport. Prices reasonable apart from spirits which were very expensive. The hotel is an €8 taxi drive away from the Santiago Bernabau and it was a similar price to get to Madrid City centre. Taxis can be booked at reception and don't take long at all to arrive. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a great weekend, we'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Spent 2 days there while on business. Hotel is centrally located and walking distance to subway, shops and eating places. Service was good and staff were helpful. Room was nice size and with expected amenities. Breakfast buffet was good with lots of options. Hotel is about 20 mns from the airport without much traffic. Hotel recommended overall for location and service

Easy to reach by metro, only 50 meters from nearest station. Clean and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast buffet. To bad it only opens at 0800 in the weekend. Overall very friendly and helpful Staff. Real minor point for this hotel is the WiFi. I stayed for 9 nigths not once was I able to have a decent enough speed. FaceTime call with business partners were constantly stopped. A 4* hotel in 2018 should do much better.

Room was a bit tired and certainly not tailored to the actual guest. Lots of advertising materials but little useful information in the printed materials. Iron came without an ironing board. Just missing the touches that would make it worth the price.
