Hotel VP Jardín Metropolitano

Room was a bit tired and certainly not tailored to the actual guest. Lots of advertising materials but little useful information in the printed materials. Iron came without an ironing board. Just missing the touches that would make it worth the price.

Big hotel on a main street does provide a relatively quiet haven if your room is on the 6th floor and facing northwards . Fairly spacious and very comfortable. Standard room at very competitive prices . Views spoilt by heavy condensation on the opening balcony doors in the mornings .. double glazing?! Amiss Wi fi not workable despite attempts on 3 phones on different international networks ,and reset of router by reception staff .. 4G signal saved the day Atrium certainly is attractive . Be it slightly artificial Greater care needs to be taken with multi lingual translation of fire instructions ! Excellent location.. helpful staff

Been there recently due a business trip in Madrid for a couple of nights and this hotel was the official one for the event. Classic hotel in both style and services, 4 starts, not exactly in city center but well situated, not far away from Castellana, Santiago Bernabeu if you are a football fan and universities area where I had my trip located. Rooms are good size, classic furniture but well maintained, very clean, reception really gentle, breakfast service ok (maybe space is quite small and offer despite very good not impressive, but I love fresh orange juice and fresh bakery and they had both on my stay. Overall, is quite a good value/money option if you decide to stay on this area of madrid. Besides, metro station is a few hundred meters away and enough shopping options, including a big El Corte Ingles wholesale store a kilometre away. Ah, before I forget, for sports and movie fans, hotel offers Movistar channels at no cost, which is quite a rare and nice exception.

I stayed for 5 nights, and had a good stay in general. The hotel is nice, it is right next to a metro, they have very nice breakfasts... but on my last night, there was a private party in what turned out to be a banquet hall in the hotel and my room was on top of the hall, and Spaniards start late and finish late: the party went on until 5 a.m. That put a damper on my stay.

Stayed two nights on the business trip. Hotel is well situated near metro station Cuatro Caminos, it takes approx. 30 minut to go there from the Barajas airport. Personnel was friendly and helpful, breakfasts were delicious. Hotel restaurant offers tasty meals for relatively reasonable prices.

I recently stayed at this hotel. I was pleased with the service and would like to especially mention Alberto who was very helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable so no complaints. I had the buffet breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed in thoroughly. This hotel is conveniently located close to the Metro which allows easy access to sites in Madrid

Once again I stayed in this hotel when in Madrid, this time for two nights. It is in a good location for my needs but also a quick trip by metro to the very centre of Madrid. Though on the main road the rooms are quiet. The hotel public areas are fine and the bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable. This time I was able to use the hotel fitness room which is small but fine.

My boyfriend and I spent two nights here and we adored it. The bed was really comfortable, the room was spotless and the bathrooms were insanely good. I loved the jacuzzi tub and stand-alone shower. The inner courtyard had a pretty little garden, a great view for when you exit your room. And speaking of views, the terrace had an uninterrupted view of all of Madrid. A great place to enjoy a bottle of wine. As we were on the top floor, our terrace was massive. The staff was very friendly and happy to help with any questions. Their english was fantastic. I only have a couple of minor complaints. The decor could use some updating . The wallpaper and furniture showed a lot of age. Also the location is quite far from the city centre, but you can catch a quick metro ride. The nearest station is just a couple in minutes away. There is a large grocery store right around the corner, and a major street close by filled with shops and restaurants. You wouldn't be able to find a hotel with this quality, and this price, in the centre.

The hotel is very smart indeed with plenty of polished wood and marble deployed in a modern idiom. The staff are professional, helpful and courteous. The rooms are spacious and well equipped as well as being spotlessly clean. The location is good - being close to the Metro and within 30 minutes of Barajas by taxi. The fact that it isn't down by the Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol means that it is very well priced. It feels much more expensive than it is. I'd definitely return there on my next visit.

I am originally from Madrid, and I return home every year. I always stay at this hotel, because they treat me like family. Everything was very clean. Everyone in reception is warm, kind, and professional, especially Luis. The restaurant and bar are fantastic. The hotel is very centrally located.
