The standart room that we ordered was terrible (inside room without window). We had to pay extra to upgrade ourselves to a better room(despite the fact we are club members off H10 villa hotels).

Very nice location, close from Plaza Cataluña and Alambra Ave

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, we were greeted by the front desk agent with a glass of champagne and marcona almonds and she even took the time to give us a map and suggest a 2 day itinerary for us with walking instructions. The location is perfect, 10 minutes max walking to all the attractions. I would have given a 5/5 but there were a few minor things that I wanted to point out... The large kings beds were extremely comfy, however it's 2 beds pushed together with a top sheet placed over them and they kept rolling apart in the middle of the night which was a bit annoying. I was surprised to find no iron/ironing board in the room, as it's pretty common in most hotels- the maid promptly brought an iron and board upon request. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat and recommend friends and family.

The best thing about this hotel was the very helpful staff. We wanted to see a concert and buying the tickets was a long complicated process that we couldn't do on our own. The front desk staff helped us, and they had difficulty as well, but it was done, and we had a great night as a result. The hotel was very clean, and nicely appointed. Walking distance to Reina Sofia.

Good location, great room, great beds and bedding and a very helpful staff. Deserves 4 stars. Great bar with free sandwiches with coffee or drinks.

Great hotel and even better location! We stayed only for one niight but I'm sure I'll go back. Recommended to everyone!

Hotel was perfectly located. The room was fantastic. Beds were comfy, bathroom was spacious and we had a very large balcony overlooking the Gran Via! The hotel was very nice. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends!

1/2 a block from the metro. 5 min walk from Puerto del Sol. 10 min walk from La Plaza Mayor Awesome staff. They kindly held our bags at the beginning of our stay since we we landed well before check in time. The bar tender (Begonia) was super sweet and chatted with me one night when I ordered a glass of champagne. Super clean and comfortable room. We had a quiet room on the back side of the hotel. I'm not sure if it's noisy in the front. I would definitely go back!

We loved this hotel! it was clean, upgraded and was in perfect location!! We walked everywhere from this hotel! it was in the middle of everything! We walked to the musems, to different plazas, to the palace! it was wonderful! It allowed us to really see the city!! The staff was very friendly and spoke english which was very helpful! We loved the bar in the lobby! it served coffee, snacks and drinks. Lots of locals came at night and sat and had a drink. There was a safe in the room which was nice. They did offer a breakfast for 12 or 15 euro per person. This "breakfast" consisted of coffee and a croissant (not really worth the money). we suggest you walk to a nearby coffee shop and purchase a coffee and pastry there instead!

The room and bathroom are clean and a decent size compared to what we experienced in Paris. I wish to have a better lighting around the mirror in the bathroom to putting on make-up but that was not a big issue. The location is perfect. Everything that you should see in Madrid is in a walking distance, less than 10 min walk to La Puerta del Sol and about 20 min to Prado Museum, easy access from Atocha, 10 min taxi drive for appr. 20Euro. The complimentary breakfast is very nice, good selection of hams, cheeses, coffee, fruits, pastries, hot eggs, sausage and cereals. We visited the Casa Patas Restaurant that is 15 min away for the Flamenco show that was extraordinary. Do not miss the show.

Friendly stuff, everithyng is around and much more

Rooms and corridors are ample, silent, comfortable and therfore restful. Personel is just ok, too grumpy at times.

First room given was tiny. The bed was hard. No room in the room. Bathroom shower door was incomplete. Water got everywhere... We were given a second room with twin beds on our honeymoon. Disappointnent to say the least. The breakfast was great. The staff was friendly. Location was premier! Don't need a car just jump on the metro or head to the bus terminal to get everywhere.

The hotel was under construction on the outside only. We stayed at 4 different hotels in Spain. This one was not memorable. Location was excellent though. Very close to everything. Could walk most places.

Summer is here, and the air condition was not working properly. Madrid was 40C+, but location is great you can walk all city from the Hotel. Metro station at the corner if someone comes from airport the metro is 1E + 1E exit to the airpor. Good experience

Great location. 2 min from a metro station and walking distance to many sites, shopping and dinning. We book a room including breakfest buffet which was very good. Our room was facing Gran Via, so it got a little noisy one night, but nothing major. Would stay again.

This was a very clean hotel in prime location. Located on Gran Via, you really are in great walking distance to most of the city. We only had to use the Metro a couple of times to get so some of the tourist sites. This was our first time in Madrid and the hotel's location couldn't have been any better to explore the city. The only complaint we had was the bed. Pretty crazy that this was a four star hotel and the bed was a very cheap/hard mattress. Not sure why so many hotels get everything right with exception of a comfortable bed. Also we requested one bed but it was two twin beds pushed together. I think this is pretty common in Europe though. Besides the bed, prefect hotel. Even free wi-fi throughout the hotel (every hotel should have this!)
