Staff was very helpful. After calling 3X to request an early check in, they must have reserved us a room (2:40 pm when check in was 3pm) even when others arrived prior to us. However, public restrooms were in very poor unclean conditions. Towel bar was broken in our bathroom. Doors were very difficult to close in bathroom and main door. Dirty Kleenex was left behind by previous guest and not cleaned. Curtains were dirty - stained. Couldn't find the exercise room because it was not labeled with a sign and was dark

We arrived about 10 minutes early for our 3pm check in and were told it would be another 30 minutes. I checked back in 30 minutes later and I was told it would be a other 30 minutes. Mind you, we had places to be by a specific time and we were now running an hour behind schedule. Once we got to our room it had a strange smell to it. We had a king bed suite and the only thing that made it seem like a suite was the hot tub. There was a tile broken off of the side of the hot tub and it was just propped up against the spot it fell from. The TV was crooked and it did not offer any smart features. Also, the TV signal was awful and was constantly cutting out. We paid more than usual for a one night stay, I was hoping for a little more. We promptly left and attempted to get a refund through Expedia who advised us to speak with the hotel and our financial institution to possibly dispute the charge. While on the phone with Manager Daniel, he was extremely rude. We would've settled for a discounted rate for the stay due to inconvenience of check in and non-working amenities. He had the audacity to tell us we were lucky that we only waited 1 hour to get checked in since some guests were waiting up to two hours. His inability to ensure rooms were ready for a busy weekend does not mean guests should have to suffer the consequences. We opted to drive two hours back home in the middle of the night after our concert instead of staying in that atrocious room. We will be disputing the charge.

Very easy to get to. Close to UW east hospital. But construction on building and driveway repair detracted from overall experience. Will use this place again. The room was excellent .

When we arrived about 7 pm, we had to wait for five minutes or more for somebody to come to the desk. There was no sign saying we’ll be back in a minute. There was no bell we could ring! Check-in was quick once the guy actually arrived! There was a nasty smell in the foyer when we arrived, but we attribute that to garbage that was overflowing, as the smell had gone by the following morning. The room was very clean and had good amenities. The breakfast was excellent, good choices, hot and cold. I enjoyed making waffles! If we go back to Madison, we would definitely stay there again. Location was very convenient right off the highway.

The property was average. Called for an early checkin of 1/2 hour before scheduled time. They told me to call back at 3:30pm which is a half hour after scheduled check in. I finally got a room and when we left there was a line of 12-15 people still waiting at 4:50 to check in. When we came home at 11:00 pm there was no parking spots available at all. I had to park at another hotel and walk a block back to our hotel.

The front desk staff were warm, courteous and professional. It was a pleasure interacting with them. The property has a breakfast bar with ample seating and a coffee service that's available 24/7. It is also within walking distance to several restaurants. My room was well below my expectations. The property is in dire need of a refresh. Some of the electrical outlets and fixtures in my room were dirty and chipped or cracked. I saw the carcass of a cockroach in the bathroom upon arrival and noticed ants crawling on the vanity. I arrived early and contacted the property from the airport to see if any rooms were available. I was advised that a room would be ready for me. Indeed, my room was available as promised. Unfortunately, housekeeping staff were not advised of this fact. Just minutes after entering my room, a housekeeping attendant burst into the room unannounced. This was very disturbing to say the least. The pillows were small and lumpy. The mattress did not seem especially firm. There were cigarette burns and holes in the bedding. I would not recommend staying at this property until improvements have been made.

Told staff 1st room terrible. Asked for better. Got worse: under construction. Whirlpool out of order. Panel missing. Gaping hole to bldg interior. Sheet rock dust on headboard, chunks on carpet. No ice in ANY machine, no hair dryer, no iron, no toilet paper holder, black hair on shower curtain and tub, corroded ceiling. Unhelpful staff. Terrible.
