The staff was great and attentive. The real let down is the property. It is just too dated and is in dire need of renovation. I booked the mansion hoping to have a memorable stay. The first room smelt of cigarette, the second room was just unkept and it wasn’t until the third room we agreed to stay in it. The lounge staff also needs guidance on how to accommodate guests and it’s no excuse if you “ run out of ingredients” that you do your utmost to fulfill your guest’s needs.

The hotel looks stunning as you approach it, and the staff were most helpful and kind. However, the room left a couple of things to be desired. I didn't arrive till almost 9pm, and though the club room upstairs was supposed to have food, it had only a little fruit. Also the staff member must have been new and did not know how to cut an apple to serve it.

Cold reception.

We arrived 10 minutes after the evening cocktail session finished at the club and the staff would not offer us any drinks or snacks, even though there were still plenty of people there. Otherwise the hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. The room did not have free bottles of water.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautifully furnished, good breakfast with plenty of choice. Wonderful pool area overlooking China. The bonus of a top quality casino. Free shuttle bus to the ferry terminal.

Excellent hotel with a personal charm

The hotel has a personal charm, situated in a very good location close to the Old city and walking distance from the new casinos. Very clean, modern love, Lanvin soap was a bonus...Excellent breakfast. Check-in was a pleasure with Alex. Thank you Alex. And the Concierge helped us with every single request we had. Shuttles to go to the bridge to cross back to HK airport was a bonus. Swimming pool and sauna a must

Room was nice, location good, but we had booked a night in macau as part of a week trip to Hong Kong from the UK, and really disappointed to be advised on arrival the pool was closed. We had specifically booked a hotel with a pool and had we known could have chosen any of a number of other properties to meet this need (some of which were more reasonably priced).
