It was overall a happy stay with my family although the hotel is relatively old. My room felt a little humid during the first day with damp smell but it got better after that. Beds were comfortable with extra pillows and blankets provided. However, the hotel forgot to provide us with mineral water. Improvement could be made with the water pressure in the bathroom as well as its door as the door was unable to be closed properly. Near to their neighborhood streets with bus stop within walking distance.

No heat in room, overcharged in hotel restaurant. Go elsewhsede. Only good is TV, wi-fi and hot water.. In is located in commercial area, there are cafes mcdonalds, markets..bus lines are neadby. Some clerks speak e vlish.

It is difficult to choose a hotel coming into Macau. I was 95 days in real garbage situation so I need civilization and this was pretty good. This one was pretty good but it is NOT WESTERN HOTEL, it is a very good Asian hotel. Service is passable to at times pretty good depends on the person. Rooms are just fine, a bit small but O.K. Rooms are clean and taken care of. INTERNET IS O.K. no more, but it works. T,V. has 2 lousy English channels. All in all not too bad.

I wasn't expecting much of this hotel because I know that it's a cheap one though I must admit that I was quite surprised to find out that it's clean (clean for Chinese standards). I have been in and out of China and lived here for some months and I can say that some hotels can be dirty. Knowing that Fu Hua is a Chinese hotel, I was expecting a Hong Kong guest house low quality of cleanliness (if you know what I mean). So far, I loved my stay here. It is also conveniently located near the bus stop and there were restaurants and a local bakery just around the corner. Macau doesn't have subways so the best way to get here via public transpo is to take a taxi. From the hotel to different parts of Macau, you can ask their receptionist and they will give you a business card so you can tell the cab drivers where you're going when heading back to the hotel. From the hotel, there are buses going to different tourists attractions and you can even walk if you have the time and energy to do so.

I stayed in a triple room on the 13th floor. Rooms are spacious. Not very clean though. Lousy room service. Location is not so ideal. Ill recommend it for travelers on budget . This was the view from my window.

I honestly don't like my room, the ceiling was low, the lighting was too dim and I find it really small. It's not really a good place for claustrophobic people. Also the walls a thin so you can hear the outside noise. It's not really worth the price :( But the place is near to a lot of stores and restaurants.

good stay. 2nights. last minutes change of plan. managed to get this hotel. 7-9feb2016. with our budget for 4 persons. walking distance 20mins to Senado square. convenient with wifi available on every floor. spent many hours to google the map. how to walk around. restaurants. shoppings nearby. walking to bus stop took a public bus to Venetian. except the toilet need improvement n repair on shower. long bath water drainage damaged. can not enjoy the long bath. after a long walk of tired feet. our next room . family members stayed. face d same bathroom facilities problem. comfortable beds. spacious room. a good night rest. attached some wonderful pictures of Macau . walking to Senado Square. thanks To Macao Tourism on the information available at Ferry Terminal. hotel lobby . maps n direction clearly . which make a wonderful stay n visit. friendly hotel front desk staffs. happy chinese new year of monkey.

Stayed there for one night during new Yr Eve .. as other hotels were damn expensive and I was backbacking during this trip to Macau so , idea was to get a place for one night sleep ! First of all Hotel is around 3-4 km from Main Casino's like Lisboa /Star etc though their are some buses like 32 , 9,9a which drops your near to Hotel but at night time taxi is the best option... Staff is not very friendly and got rude responses at times on my queries regarding going to some tourist places.. and then come the worst surprise .. room size.. Room is no bigger than a double bed size .. hardly any space to fit in anything .. they even don't have water bottles in the room .... I was tired after a day long Macau trip .. so didn't bother about anything ! but don't recommend to book if you are travelling with family/group just for price !

This hotel i would not recommend for business travellers or people with a budget of 100 -150 usd per night that need rest. The walls are very thin, you hear everything! Much more than you want if you know what i mean. This hotel is probably suited for chinese as there is nothing written in English, also the staff speaks poor english. The rooms are extremely tiny, it barely fits a 2 person mini bed. The bathroom is just not clean. Better stay in a hostel...

Plus: Good size room, fridge, shower gel and shampoo in large shower, large towels, but no face towels, hair dryer, fireplace with lights(looked o.k. - not a fire by any means, but lighted), 2 English channels 922 and 913, very detailed hotel information binder down to how much it costs if you want to buy anything in the room, including the furniture. Help at desk was o.k., not great, but o.k. Convenient location from Outer Harbor Ferry terminal: Bus 12 to within 1 block of the hotel. The tourist information at the terminal were very helpful - told us which bus to take and which stop to get off at. If you take the bus, hang on! Drivers go fast, stop suddenly. Romantic hotel? Well, even a tent can be romantic! It's what you make it. Be sure to take the ferry to Outer Harbor from Kowloon, not Taipa where the casinos are. We took the ferry to HK airport which was so convenient. Negative: Musty smell - had read about it in another review. It was barely noticeable in the room but the hall seemed to get worse each day we were there. Poor WiFi: Internet service for me was only in the lobby. Umbrellas available on rainy days : wanted $100.00 USD deposit. Hotels in Seoul, Busan and Kyoto didn't charge anything. The hotel name was printed on them. We passed on that offer. They did offer their own umbrellas, but by that time the rain had stopped. Large lobby with only one bench for seating. There seemed to be some renovating going on so that may have changed. Don't let the negative comments keep you from staying here. Macau is an amazing city - people told us 2 days is all you need there. I disagree - there are several beautiful parks both in old Macau and on Taipa. Museums can be closed on Mondays.
