2 of us sharing a room was a tight squeeze but a great location, right in the middle of the old town. Lots of restaurants and cafe's nearby. Good for 1-2 nights but if staying longer, find a bigger place!
We only stayed at this hotel for 1 night but I can truly say that this is a great find - close to Senado square, accessible to bus stops and the free shuttle at Ponte 16 hotel, warm and friendly receptionist (can communicate well in English too), clean room and comfy bed. Definitely a good place to stay!
Overall is good and very strategic location nearby to the st.paul and very near to some good food. Staff is friendly and helpful. However the toilet is too small and the hotel room price are slightly higher.
This hotel is located around the very well known historical site - the Ruins of St Pauls, which is only a 5 minutes walking distance. Bus stands are easily seen around the hotel, which put you at ease if you happened to miss one or two bus stations, because the distance between bus stations are just so short! ^^ Room was very clean, size and facilities are very good for its price. It's a gem! There are lots of souvenir shops downstairs, which you can go shopping anytime you want and no need worry to carry all heavy biscuits to every where.:-) Staffs are very knowledgeable and helpful. They were like a live map of Macau that they can answer any questions you asked about Macau! Thumbs up! There are few eating place that you can reached by just walking less than 5 minutes! Firstly, a very well known Macau style breakfast cafe ( Sheng Li Cafe with red color signage) around the corner. Secondly, a yummy congee stall ( Cheng Ji Zhou Pin) located in a small and narrow back street. There are still lots more eating perks around this hotel awaiting you to explore too!
We book a double room in this hotel for 2 nights. The room had a sufficient average size. The location is quiet and we couldn't hear any road traffic (5th Floor). There is a breakfast at 38 HKD with a few choices of sweet / savoury options. Senado square is about 8 minutes walk and Caldeira street is very charming.
It is a relatively small room but very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful too. It is located a few minutes walk from Senado Square, the best tourist mall and also near the airport and ferry terminal. From the Senado Square you can catch buses to many places. There are a few eateries in front of the hotel. We love the desert shop at the corner of the street, the congee and the noodle shop too. They open till late. Along the narrow streets near the hotel are bakeries, street food and there is a shop that makes dried noodles. The streets near the hotel are narrow with interesting shops on both sides. We could walk back safely from the bus stop after visiting Venetian and its surrounding casinos. It was still busy at close to midnight. We would definitely stay again in this hotel.
Very good location, a few steps away from Koi Kei Shop, St. Paul Ruins, Senado de Lago, Grand Lisboa. In front, with yummy Congee store for breakfast. Room ( with 2 single bed) is enough, with friendly concierge. Helped us to get a taxi to airport, cab arrived in less than 5 minutes. From the airport- we just took a cab, shown the name and address using local dialect; paid around $60-$70hkd if im not mistaken. Going to Venetian and other casino-we board bus 26A ( also used in return). Paid around 6hkd only. We took the bus fronting Grand Lisboa after stroll going to Cotai strip.
Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel is our choice to stay during our trip in Macau Its located near Senado sq, with easy access to all tourist destination. The bus stop could be reach by 10 minutes walked. Both the frondesk staffs (the young lady and the young man) are helpfull and friendly. The check in/out process runs smoothly. The room and bathroom are suitable with our needs. Clean and quite spacious for two of us. A lot of restaurants and souvenirs shops nearby. We bought our food souvenirs from Koi Kei just 5 minutes walked from the hotel. The hotel could be reached by taxi or bus. It cost us MOP 71 from Macau Airport to the hotel. But its only cost less than MOP 6 each person for a bus ride from the hotel to the airport. Overall based on its price, location and easy access, we would stay again in this hotel in our next trip to Macau
Had a great time staying in this hotel during our trip. The room was cleaned regularly, there was a bathtub, they changed our linens everyday plus they gave us complimentary bottled water everyday. Nice hotel to stay.
Yes, if you want peace and quiet from the tourist crowds. You can easily get a free shuttle to and from the ferry jetty, via Sofitel Ponte 16. Just 5 mins walk from Sofitel to the hotel (alleyway beside Koi Kei Bakery - hotel is at the back). About 8 mins walk to Senado Square. For us, it is a good location. (3 adults and a 1 yr old baby - 2 rooms).
