ibis Wellingborough

Nice hotel, great location

Overall very good experience at this hotel. Hotel is close to the highway, great pub close by with a McDonalds right across the parking lot. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. WIFI was excellent. No air conditioning so had to keep window open with a fan running so some traffic noise was a bit bothersome. The only issue I had was at check-in when I arrived about 2 hours before the official check-in time of 1400 hrs. The clerk told me I had to pay an extra 10 quid even though he told me my room was ready and waiting for me. Complete ripoff. I left and came back later and checked in with no penalty.

Macdonald Ansty Hall

Nice country hotel a little expensive on the food & drinks

A nice stay in the English country side, as I said the food was a bit to expensive for what you got, but other than that all good - recommend the 'cream tea' service in the afternoon...clotted cream and preserves!

Village Hotel Coventry

Excellent location and amenities.

Excellent location and amenities. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms very clean with usb ports and Dyson fans (No ac in summer?) Bed not very comfortable with thin duvet and pillows, not very appropriate for winter weather.

Hampton by Hilton Corby / Kettering

Very good

2nd time here. Everything good. The only downside is the bedroom facing a parking with lorries and a bit noisy (from 8-9 am) during week time. Good if you are on business, not so good if you plan to rest on the morning. But this is still a minor problem. The staff is VERY friendly, the hotel is very clean and good food for the breakfast (excellent bread).
