door of the room and toilet door touched the floor and didn't open freely. cold water in the bathroom did not run so well.. other than that, everything was good.
Very spacious suite, large bathroom and in-room beverages made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Excellent location and amenities. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms very clean with usb ports and Dyson fans (No ac in summer?) Bed not very comfortable with thin duvet and pillows, not very appropriate for winter weather.
A nice stay in the English country side, as I said the food was a bit to expensive for what you got, but other than that all good - recommend the 'cream tea' service in the afternoon...clotted cream and preserves!
They never told us at check in that check out was strictly 11am and every hour after was charged 10 pounds. That is, of course, until 11am rolled around and this rude woman starts barking. The ironic thing is we were all getting ready to leave, and I've stayed in literally thousands of hotels worldwide ...
The hotel was centrally located but the room wasn't very clean (mildew on shower curtain, hairs in the bathroom, shampoo left from a previous resident). I was disappointed that the wifi is only available in public areas. You get what you pay for, though, and the price was right on!
