The room was good for the price and generally comfortable, which I appreciated. However, my experience with one of the staff members left a lot to be desired. They came across as disinterested and quite rude. I was also overcharged for coffees, despite the correct prices being clearly displayed on the blackboard behind the counter. When I pointed out the mistake, I was given another coffee to make up for it, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the error. In fact, the staff member mentioned they'd been charging everyone that way for a while, which was concerning. The next morning, I noticed the coffee prices had been wiped off the board. A different staff member served me that time and was able to find the correct price on the till with no issue—suggesting the previous overcharging may have been due to laziness or carelessness. Overall, the stay was fine, but the customer service and handling of pricing mistakes definitely need improvement.

Bank Holiday break..

Not entirely sure what to say about this as it was clean, but felt a bit deserted most of the time and there were one staff on duty some of the time, the chef was on split shifts so unable to have any snacks when we arrived, we were asked at one point how we had booked there for three night's as there wasn't anything in the area! We used it as a base for visiting Warwick castle, the safari park etc...we did feel as if they did what they had to do during our stay? Ideal for a base however wouldn't return there .

It’s ok but dated The receptionist was either grumpy or poor English I’m not sure No tv remote in the room for a tiny screen some 20 feet from the bed which was frustrating Bed was ok but kept rolling into the centre connection where the two singles were joined Clean and serviceable. But falls short of a travel lodge or premier inn standard

This can’t be a full review as arrived 10:30pm and left early the next morning. I had the executive room. Very big and looked like two rooms knocked into one. Overall felt a bit run down. No wall lights so needs phone torch to get into room. Two small wall heaters but did warm room up, towel heater didn’t work. Bathroom was freezing. Bed was the dreaded two beds joined up so you either sleep like a single bed or on ridge. Breakfast started at 7am which was a bit late really and missed it . Most start at 6:30am.
