bedrooms are in desperate need of renovation they are stuck in the 1970s as is the leisure club. The only decent part of the hotel is the reception

Slightly above average but wouldn’t rush to come back. Room felt a little neglected. Very busy with some sort of event on at the time of booking so was quite noisy. Health and wellness facilities were pretty decent and open a little later than they typically are at other hotels. Onsite parking is good.

We have stayed at Staverton Park Hotel on several occasions. We have always found the front desk staff extremely helpful. The room is always clean and comfortable. We love the buffet style breakfast as we were able to have exactly what we wanted. Definitely would recommend.

Room was very nice. Loved the big bathroom and shower. My only complaint was the two servers at breakfast that kept trying to clear my plate in an empty dining room at 7:30 a.m. when I wasn't finished eating.

When I arrived, the staff greeted me pleasantly. When I first went to my room, I was very happy. The room was clean and the necessary amenities were provided. The cleaners did a fantastic job on day three of my stay. In terms of my room, the negatives were an extremely loud extractor fan and the door itself let a lot of external sound in. The food in the restaurant was lovely and the waitresses I had were fantastic. Unfortunately, the second night there was an issue. Although I paid for half-board in advance, I went to the restaurant and was informed that there was no table for me. As such, I went to the bar but I had to wait over two hours. Due to the long wait, I ordered dinner to my room and was able to eat this around 8.30 which was much later than I anticipated. I was expecting a free meal for this issue but was given a £5 reimbursement for the cost of room service. This was a little frustrating but I did not push. The leisure facilities were lovely, although the jacuzzi was not working, which was a shame. The grounds are beautiful and are perfect for a walk, even if you don't play golf! I will be definitely returning in the future.

On arrival the reception staff were excellent and this continued throughout our stay. Our room was clean and had the desired facilities. The bed was comfortable. The leisure/health centre was excellent and the pool warm. During our stay the jacuzi was out of order, but I feel sure it would be in service again soon. The evening meal was very good as was the service. Breakfast let it down a bit with some of the items overcooked and the bacon a bit fatty. Overall a great stay and would go again.
