Super friendly staff! We had to wait a little for our room to be ready but they kept our bags at the hotel and took them up to the room once it was ready! Super clean, awesome amenities, beautiful location! Would definitely recommend!

Great hotel with great service. Close to the beach

The hotel is ok but not for the price, I got 2 rooms and I called 2 days to be sure that they were connected and they said yes, but they werent , and i have 2 small kids , so i was not able to be with my wife, but at least they gace us 100,00 usd in each room as credit i think i will go another hotel next time

The Hotel was too busy in the halls and closing off the drive for valet due to business conferences guests which mad uncomfortable and noisy which distracted our relaxation. Seriously annoying.

Lobby, pool, and outside is very nice. Room is a dump!!! Dirty carpet and tired room! Spend your money elsewhere! Took bellman 30 minutes to deliver bags! Then asked if we needed ice and said he would be back. Never showed back up!

I have mixed feelings about this hotel - On one side the location is unbeatable, staff is amazing and lobby is very inviting. On the other side it is a bit run down, washroom in std room is the size of a small closet and you can see/feel the best years have passed for the main facilities (incl spa & fitness centre). For a Fairmont hotel, this is not the gem of this fantastic chain.

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were always clean The noise from the bar every night was loud and annoying.

It is does cost more after the fact. It is a very nice hotel that is near just about everything. The hotel staff is very helpful in making sure you get everything taken care of. When i was there several parties took place so some of the entrances where closed for that use and the lobby got a bit crowded.

We really liked it. The area was perfect. Very close to the beach. Staff was great and room very clean.

I was excited to stay at the Fairmount, but from check in to check out, the hotel was one disappointment after the next. The front desk attendant, Chad, was particularly unfriendly. The room was worn and outdated and the bathroom had a bad smell. While the ocean view and balcony were quite nice, the noise from the restaurant was truly obnoxious -- and lasted until about 2 am every night. The location is good and within walking distance of most everything. The valet service was quite slow - dropping the car in the evening (midweek) took at least 15 minutes. I enjoyed the bathroom products - but we received only one bottle of shampoo for four days and two people. Ultimately, I was happy to depart this hotel as it certainly was the low point of an otherwise pleasant trip to California.

Great location near the beach and promenade, great service. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. most rooms have ocean view.

Staff was wonderful! So nice and helpful. Beach club was perfect. Great location.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Fairmont. The beds are heavenly. You can walk out the door and jog/walk/do yoga on the beach. The big outside mall is just a block away. The hotel restaurant FIG is healthy and delicious! No wonder Arnold Schwarzenegger eats his breakfast there at least twice a week!

Caitlin at front desk gave us an upgrade after balcony room we booked was not available. She was awesome!

Room was not ready on time . Breakfast took 30 minutes after ordering. Left my oc in room and had to track down numerous people to help
