The good: Great location. Walkable distance to just about anywhere. The service desk was very friendly and provided quick service. The bad: It's a very old building that can use some upgrades. We even had a toilet clogged. The ugly: There's a $35/night parking charge. $20/night distination charge. By the time I checked out, I received a bill for a lot more than I agreed to on orbitz.

I didn’t like the fees they plugged in. A couple of drink vouchers are useless if you don’t drink. And if you’re going to have this fee cover your “free” Wi-Fi access then at least have decently functioning Wi-Fi. Rooms are pretty outdated and small, but location is great. Gentleman at front desk was friendly.

excellent location to access to the Beach

Location to beach and pier is what make this historic hotel!

Friendly staff!!

I felt that the hotel was excellent given the low price and prime location. It hasn’t been updated in a long time and the rooms were small, but the staff was fantastic, and the price and location can’t be beat.

This hotel is in a great location right in the heart of Santa Monica . What’s hard to understand is why it is such an outdated building. Seems like it would be in a old horror movie or something.

Close to a lot of things. Room was big. Outdared carpet and appliances.

Garbage hotel with horrible ownership. Avoid this place at all costs!!

Not great at all. Rooms are completely different than what’s shown.

I was pleased with the service!, I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Small hotel located near the Santa Monica Pier. Location was the reason I chose to stay but finding the place took me a few times going around the block. Also there is no parking only by valet otherwise you need to drop car near a public parking. Overall would recommend for someone looking for a budget hotel to stay for 1 night or 2.

This hotel was reasonable for the location to Santa Monica beach. It is also in the midst of high end shopping....fine dining.....food trucks.....restaurants. Anything you need is within walking distance. You can order food on site and many restaurants deliver. The rooms are a nice size and some that have a view to the ocean. Lastly....this hotel has a professional atmosphere and is very neat and clean.

It’s a quiet old hotel. Something out of Pulp Fiction. There is something about the place. It has that old charm. Perfect location to the Promenade. You can walk to everything.
