First room I was given smelled. They switched our room but there was a cockroach in the shower and other bug on the bed. My husband got bitten by somthing too. Overall, terrible experience. I had to check out earlier than my plans and book a place elsewhere. And still charged around $200 for the night.

On October 12 2025 at approximately 930 pm.. Myself Steven and my beautiful Girlfriend Dayja Booked a last minute Hotel stay at Comfort Inn Santa Monica. Use the Hotels.com Website. After receiving our room key for room 115. We entered the room and noticed a smell of mildew like there was a previous water leak. And the television didn’t work / couldn’t find a signal. The Comfort inn staff provided us with a new room #122. My girlfriend and I both physically, Visibly and mentally exhausted. Got in bed and went to sleep but can smell a bad smell coming from the restroom. my girlfriend Dayja woke up about 4am to use the restroom and noticed there was a woman satay napkin/ Bloody Pad in the trash can that smelled very bad .. also what looks to be spit in the sink. She was very upset and concerned about the cleaning staff not keeping completely cleaning the room. After speaking to hotel staff we were referred to contact Hotels.com for help

Clean room, good breakfast included, close to Santa Monica pier and Sawtelle area! Parking is easy but you have to pay $10/day which is not bad. Please don’t make it too expensive because of a good review. Keep this great things about your hotel as a remarkable thing that you can do for your customers without being expensive!
