The personnel were always ready to help me. Make my stay vey pleasant.

Location couldn't be better with huge shopping mall nearby. Breakfast at hotel with beautiful view to Santa Monica beach. Room is spacious and perfect for family. It's a homy hotel that staff is super responsive and I get what I need right away after call to the front desk. Elevator is old and slow. It's not that bad until staffs keep using them for their maintenance making it even slower. Hotel maintenance keeps going. There's always something that is not working, but the hotel staff responded fast so it's not that big of deal.

The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was friendly. The location had a great view of the pier. I only have two complaints that kept the visit from being 5 stars all the way down. One of the elevators was being repaired, so there was only one operating. We often took the stairs up to the 7th floor just because the wait was so long. My second issue was with how loud the staff had personal conversations. I'm not sure if the lobby just carries sound, but I could hear way too much of the staff's personal conversations while I ate my dinner. On a positive note, the dinner was delicious and the waiter was attentive. I will definitely stay at the Georgian again in the future once the construction is done. The room was very nice and comfortable. The whole hotel had a lovely vintage feel about it, but it still had modern accommodations. The location can't be beat. Palisades Park is right across the street, and the beach is just beyond that. The Promenade is a couple streets behind the hotel, so there is plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance.

Had an amazing stay at the Georgian hotel. The suit was very clean and spacious! The view was great and just walking distance to the Santa Monica pier! The staff was polite, professional and curdious! We also loved the breakfast, a must try! We will be returning to stay a few nights again in the future!

Santa Monica was the 2nd leg of our trip, we drove over from AZ. I had gotten my dates confused so we arrived a day earlier than I had scheduled. The lady at the front desk was very understanding and kind and even called around to find me a room for the night. So the first night we were at the Fairmont. It was a beautiful hotel with all the amenities you could ask for. When we arrived at the Fairmont they gave me a free upgrade when they saw that there were 5 of us. Anyway the Georgian was a neat historical building that is pretty well kept up, rooms were clean. Elevators were very small and there was no pool. It was October and unseasonably cold so a pool would've been nice for my 3 kids who found it too cold to swim in the ocean. But we were comfortable and close to all of the happenings that Santa Monica has to offer.

This hotel is in a prime location, right across from the beach, close to pier, steps to the promenade. The rooms are a little small but very nice, have to remember it's an older, historic hotel and rooms weren't big back then! The best part I think was the staff....they were kind, accommodating, helpful...never had to wait on anything. They truly made for an awesome stay!

Staff was fantastic, friendly , helpful and couldn't of been nicer. Room was nice and they were happy to offer you extra coffee. Two concerns, cable went in and out, which was frustrating if you were watching breaking news or a news story. Second the shower pressure was terrible. Other than that the stay was great. If they couldn't fix those two items I would probably try another place on our next visit.

I was satisfied with the stay. My only complaints would be the slow elevator and there is not a fan in the bathrooms.

This hotel was perfect for a getaway with my husband. The location could not have been better. It had the beach right across the street along with the pier. It was in walking distance of the major shopping street and wonderful restaurants. The hotel is a little small but has a lot of charm. The rooms were a little small but the bed was so comfy and the room served it's purpose. Would we definitely stay here again.

The staff was very helpful. I left my dress in the car and the woman offered to bring it to my room. I also wanted ice and they brought that too me as well. Overall good experience. Though I would have liked some space in the fridge.

The location is really good. About 5 minutes walking to the pier and downtown. All the things in the room is perfect! Nice bed, nice TV, nice everything! Otherwise, there's lots of fantastic dining place near this hotel. I strongly suggest this hotel even though the price is expensive.

It is all about the staff and location here. Perfect on both. Room was excellent also. Had a regular room last time. It was small and dark, but ok. Got a suite this time and it was worth the extra. Very nice suite. Lots of windows, spacious.

Excellent friendly great location, staff very friendly. Decor was great true to age of hotel, bed so comfortable pillows great loved my stay .....

Loved this hotel very clean, hotel staff all friendly, loved the pillows comfy, would stay there again.....

The Georgian is my favorite place to stay in Santa Monica. It is my home away from home! The Hotel is perfectly located and the staff is like family. I always stay at the Georgian when I visit southern California. Can't wait to go back!

When I return to Santa Monica, I will definitely stay at The Georgian again! Loved the location right across from the ocean and walking distance to all the great restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff was excellent. My room was great. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. All in all, I had a lovely experience in this historic and charming hotel!

This is retro chic hotel. I stayed in a King suite for the night and it was beautiful. I was in town for the night visiting friends and we had a great drinks and dinner at mercado. The only thing I would say is the valet stand is inside the hotel, instead of outside.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. The bathroom tile grout could have been cleaner. Although two checked into the room, they only provided one coffee cup and the last occupants coffee was still in the coffee maker. The room was comfortable, but nothing special.

We enjoyed the property.....the historical nature of the hotel was very impressive. Our room had an amazing view, and was very comfortable. The room size was fine, though the bathroom was very small. The location and proximity to all Santa Monica sights was fantastic. We had a nice breakfast on the verandah...fine service and food. There are other more luxurious properties, but for the price the Georgian provides comfort and value in a unique setting. And of course the extraordinary color of the building is a show stopper!

I had to travel to Santa Monica for work and totally hit a gold mine with The Georgian. The location is perfect, the hotel room was comfy and clean and the staff was amazing. I was greeted warmly and even though I was only there for a few nights, everyone I interacted with seemed to remember me, which was a nice touch. I sometimes worry about staying alone in hotels, but I felt completely safe and comfortable here. One thing to note- if you stay on the second floor, there are 2 sets of stairs. One set goes up, the other goes down. Don't panic when you open the wrong door and only see stairs leading up. Closing the door and re-opening it won't make them magically appear either. Instead, step back, look to your left and about 2' away is the door to the down set of stairs. I hope to head back to Santa Monica for work again soon and will for sure stay at the Georgian again!
