Great for the Santa Monica pier and access to tranportation to airport and Pier. Nice spa on the second floor and laundry. Great free breakfast in the morning which was healthy. Can't believe they rated the hotel only two stars. I would give it four stars. Room had huge high ceilings, great TV, and was quiet. Free toothpaste and mouthwash at front desk.

Proximity to shops and restaurants

It was a better price then others in the area A few blocks walk to the waterfront and pier. Clean, comfortable bed, not fancy Breakfast was good Not their fault but the homeless situation can make walking around this city uncomfortable

The size of the room was good, we had a double queen. Bathroom was updated, nice shower. The mattresses needed to be replaced. Great location only about 5-7 min walk from SM pier. There's a target on the same street right there. The area outside the hotel was not the best as there is a train station right across the street but we didn't have any issues. The breakfast buffet was included which was great but the food was very basic but fine for kids as they had a waffle station and cereals. If I went back to the same area I would try another place but the hotel was one of the more reasonably priced so it was a pretty good value for the area

It took a while to get used to using our key card to open everything, but the property felt nice and safe. Breakfast in the morning was great. All the staff I encountered, from the front desk, valet, breakfast staff, and the cleaning crew were all very friendly. Only strange thing I didn’t like was the design of the bathroom door, being the same door as the closet. So it didn’t actually fully close, and didn’t give full privacy with the other person is shared my room with. Also, charging $99 for two nights of parking was a bit insane.

The establishment is clean, the staff is professional, valet is AWESOME, and the walk ti the Pier is literally 3 blocks. Unfortunately, the homeless population hangs around the perimeter day and night. . My room was in the 2nd flr and smelled of weed daily, so I never enjoyed the balcony. When I mentioned it to mgmt, he said that there was nothing he could do about the outside element. I inquired about having a no loitering regulation and he just shrugged it off nonchalantly and went on about his business. Even though the location is GREAT, and the Target is right across the street, I’d never book this location again. Oh, the room was VERY basic and lack luster; I was a bit disappointed, but I didn’t spend much time in it, so it didn’t matter THAT much.

The property was in a good location not far from the beach, but it was depressing, they allowed homeless people to lay or squat in front of the hotel all times of the day, so when you came for breakfast they were sitting or laying right in front of the glass windows where you ate or sat to use your internet and no one said anything or asked them to move along or nothing, when you came out of front doors they were there , when you returned they were there, it was sad and depressing. The hitel itself was ok, our room was huge, but the bed linen was dirty, the sheets were dirty, and the nightstand and phone were covered with dirt as to say no one had been in room to clean for days.

They were great, rooms super clean as staff amazing.

Loved it. Clean, quite, walking distance from the fun and far enough for a quite sleep.

Bed’s are kind of uncomfortable. You can hear the rooms next door.

Check-in was very smooth. Location was very convenient. Clean, quiet, nice stay. The onlt thing I thought they could improve or change was the breakfast. Very nicely they still served a breakfast, but due to the COVID situation, you needed to ask a server to prepare food for you instead of a regular buffet style. There was a long line, and it didn't move quickly either (since I gave up getting one, I cannot tell if it was worth it to wait in the long line though). But overall I was happy to stay there.

Originally I booked another hotel. But I got the feeling to change my hotel and I went with it. When I stumbled upon this one. I have never been so pleased with a hotel. This was the perfect hotel, the perfect area. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and we loved it so much! We were walking distance to everything!! The mall, food places, supermarket, beaches etc. the only thing I slightly disliked was that the pool is covered, therefore there’s no sun. However, being 2 blocks from the beach made up for it! They have the most amazing staff as well and super nice! Thank you all !!
