This is such a beautiful and well-designed house with thoughtful touches like coffee pods, a BBQ, and plenty of towels. It doesn’t feel like another cookie-cutter rental, it’s full of authenticity and Playa Vista charm. The rooms are huge, so we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoyed drinking coffee on the patio in the mornings.

We loved this house! The location was perfect, and the street was quiet. The house had modern contemporary finishes and is very clean! The kitchen had all the necessities to make coffee and cook meals with ease. The beds are super comfortable and had black out curtains which made it easy to sleep in. The host was top notch and even got us a mat for in the shower to prevent slipping! She was very responsive when I had a question and upon arrival had a few snacks and coffee pods waiting for us! I would highly recommend this home to rent and will stay here again when visiting family!

Amazing rental!

We had such a great time at this little house. The location is amazing, just off the freeway but extremely quiet neighborhood. The house is roomy and cozy, clean and well laid out. The bedrooms are a great size and the mattresses are comfy. There are 2 toilets and vanity which is convenient with 4 people. The kitchen and dining area is awesome. Could use real glasses, we only found plastic glasses which was a bummer. We will definitely be back!

Great central LA location

Everything that is advertised about the property is correct. Very clean and updated designer home in a quiet area only 15 min from LAX. A short walk to some good restaurants as well as a short drive to Marina Del Ray and surrounding areas that are not far from the beach.

Beautiful House in Ideal Location

This house was exactly as shown on the listing and even more beautiful upon arrival. We were greeted with a personalized note and a few treats to enjoy during our stay. The exterior and front yard is very inviting and when you walk in, the house is bright, clean, and wonderfully decorated. Love all of the white and updated design along with the beautiful artwork. The huge kitchen counter and big dining table were nice to use. The two bedrooms are cozy but also filled with light. It was so easy to get in and out of the house (no fuss) and the house is located on a quiet street and is an ideal location near many great shopping centers. We really enjoyed staying in this house and will definitely book here again!

Wonderful House of Light

We loved our stay at the House of Light. The home was perfectly located for our visits with our daughter and family living in Westchester. The home was immaculate and well stocked. The decor is very zen and the home is beautifully decorated. We appreciated the strong wifi and availability of streaming services. Can’t wait to return!

The home was exactly as described and pictured; check in was very simple with the keycode, and the host checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is very convenient to everything and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxed modern home

We loved the open concept of this two bedroom home. We had space to organize all our sons stuff to be moved into college and the laundry room in the house was an extra plus. There was a cute little private patio for morning coffee and evening relaxing. The owner responded immediately via text for any of our questions, The furnishing were clean organic modern & lovely, & we had the driveway to park on. The location was close to grocery and airport.

Great place to stay!

This house is comfortable and clean. We loved the location for our sight seeing outings. It is quiet and safe. Definitely recommend to anyone coming to LA. We looked forward to coming back everyday after being out in the city. The kitchen is really nice and the beds comfortable. We ate nearby and had great meals in the area.

Best VRBO experience!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay! This home is so clean and decorated like West Elm. Close to so much. Walking distance to Starbucks & Whole Foods. So close to Marina Del Rey, Venice Beach, LMU, Malibu, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and more! Also close to downtown Culver City which has a new Erewhon...needless to say we were there everyday! We will be coming back to this house time and time again.

We Will Be Back!

We had a great experience from start to finish. This home is immaculately clean, very comfortable and perfectly located! There is a fabulous laundry room which was incredibly convenient since we had been traveling for a week when we arrived. The kitchen is well equipped & beautifully appointed and there is a BBQ and a cute, cozy outdoor space which gave us the opportunity to have a much desired home cooked meal! There is WiFi which gave us the chance to catch up on work. It truly felt like home away from home. The host was extremely responsive. We will definitely stay here again the next time we head to California, which will be soon!

We loved staying at this property. The location was excellent for everything we wanted to do in LA- beach at sunset, lunch in Beverly Hills, an event at SoFi, and flying in/out of LAX. Peaceful, tranquil, sparkling clean, and easy drive to my favorite places in LA!

Ruohan's place is thoughtfully designed and elegently decorated for everyday living and comfort. This place is sparkling clean, we couldn't find even one dust! The location is quite and is an easy drive to some of my favorite places in LA (Abbot Kinney Blvd/Rose Ave), Venice, Santa Monica, Mathhantan Beach etc.) It is also very close to a freeway entrance if you want to venture out to other parts of LA. Highly recommended!
