Very serviceable hotel near Chinatown & Union station. Older facility but in good shape.

Older hotel but serviceable. Good value. Close to Union Station.

Nice hotel close to metro train station. Room clean.Walls thin.Older hotel, but kept clean.

Went to a music festival walking distance from hotel so it was very convenient. Room was Ready ,Clean and very spacious. I would definitely stay here again. Better than I expected. They charge $5 for parking which is expected in LA.

Hotel was ok. fire alarm went off at 3 in the a.m. Our original room wasn’t not ready at the check in time. Hotel staff was rude especially the night staff.

Walking distance from Union Station which is the only positive. When I first go to my room, the bathroom floor was covered in water. Front desk sent up a maintenance person and they used a dirty mop to soak up all the water. I went out for dinner and when I came back, the bathroom floor was covered in water again. Front desk said it was a leak and moved me to another room. The bed was uncomfortable with lumpy pillows. The air conditioner worked okay but was really loud and had a really bright light on it. It would light up the entire room at night. Very loud area with thin walls. Overall not nice place to stay.

Breakfast was minimal. Parking was a bargain. The location is ideal for access to Union Station and Olvera Street. In fact this hotel gives great value for the price. Most of the guests seemed to be foreign tourists.

Very good choice, if u have limited budget, this is your best choice. Convenient for public transportation, easy to explore the city without a car.

It was ok but the hotel needs a lot of updating the room ok but curtains were very old might need some new curtains and bedspreads new pillows, pillows are so flat.

Average rooms, nothing really special but very clean. Would definitely stay there again if I ever go back to LA. A friend recommended that I stay in a room away from the street. When I arrived I asked the location of the room and they pointed to the street sid. I asked for a back room and they were very accommodating. This hotel is very close to Union Station, just two blocks. There are also several good everyday restaurants within a three-block area.

A clean place to spend the night for a OK price for the location.

Appreciated breakfast every morning. Staff was kind and informative. Service was good.

Arrived late at night, but staff was on their toes. Friendly check in. Room was so so. Place needs a good deep cleaning and updating. Satisfactory for a overnite stop.

Older hotel, check in slow but room nice size, luggage storage came in handy allowing me to store bag while attended a baseball game

I traveled in and out of Union Station and wanted something convenient for downtown. It is a good hotel for those using public transportation and walking around Chinatown and downtown. There is also an on-site pay parking lot. I have seen the hotel for years but never stayed. I am happy with the cleanliness and breakfast. The staff seem happy and do a good job. I appreciate the 24 hour hot coffee and hot water in the lobby. There are also drinking water dispensers on each floor. Chinatown library is close by as well. Other guests commented on how they appreciated the breakfast that was provided. I would stay again.

I have stayed at Metro Plaza before, and I was not disappointed with this stay. I had an unusually large room last year, but even the regular room was pleasant. The location is convenient.

The Metro Plaza is in a great location, especially for those few who choose to explore L.A. without a car. it's a quick walk to Union Station as well as many subway and bus lines. It's also near historic Olvera Street and Chinatown. Nothing fancy here and probably nothing in the room except the tv and the bed was newer than 30 years old, however I found the room to be quite comfortable and very clean. It has one of those old fashioned ac/heat units with a constant fan setting that is great for cancelling out any street noises. I slept very well, which I can't say about the fancy chain hotel that I had slept in the night before. The bathroom is ridiculously huge. Complimentary muffins, doughnuts and juice for breakfast. Finally, I thought this was a great value as the price I paid was much less than the majority of other hotels in the area.

Hi there, the experience was good. I arrived after midnight and I was still able to check in.

Weekend hotel with great activities with in walking distance.

Room is clean though smells strong cheap air freshener. But the rest doesn't look well maintained. Basic breakfast. One night stay is OK
