This is a great hotel. It's about 100 years old, beautifully updated, with a wealth of lovely indoor spaces and a wide range of outdoor activities, from swimming to croquet. It's located in a beautiful Pasadena neighborhood that's very close to San Marino. Staff are uniformly pleasant and helpful, and every effort is made to look after guests' comfort. In fact, the establishment is so nice that one's impulse is simply to stay on the property, but don't give in to that, because Pasadena and San Marino have much to offer! We've stayed here several times, and we're never disappointed.

Absolutely loved the room, The Tap Room, The Royce and they have a fabulous pool and spa!! The lobby is elegant and they have complimentary coffee every morning in front of the hotel!

I was there for an overnight and it was totally wonderful on every level. The staff, the setting and ambience begins with the car park guys and ends with them giving me written directions on how to get to the airport. ( I had picked the wrong airport) It is a beautiful old hotel, immaculate and stately!

The room was clean and comfortable. However, the service was terrible. Every restaurant in the premise closes by 10 pm except Le Tap. However, on the night we were there, Le Tap was booked for a wedding. So, we ordered dinner from the room service. It took many calls before our meals arrive after almost two hours without any drinks. Brunch required 1/2 hour wait. The hotel was way under-satffed for a sold out evening. Overall not a memorable stay.

We've stayed at the Langham in Pasadena many times and always enjoy the beautiful grounds and peaceful atmosphere. Rooms are very traditionally decorated and the bathroom is marble with a large tub and shower with great water pressure. Love it!

Like a resort, the surrounding gardens are charming for a stroll - especially pleasing in the evening as the sun is setting. Walking through the hotel was like a trip back to an earlier era of elegance and sumptuous furnishings. Service was amazing: The car park staff was amazingly kind and welcoming. The bellhop helped us cheerfully, checking to see that the AC was correct and if he could help us find anything. Tap Room staff were fast, helpful and charming. Sadly, the Front Desk people came off as robotic and even sullen. They did the job efficiently, but never looked at us or smiled during check-in/check-out or used an extra unnecessary word to do their task. Our room (311) not one of the loveliest, perhaps, as it overlooked the garbage cans and service area. Still, it was spacious, luxuriously appointed, sweetly clean, and well maintained, except for the slightly corroded bathroom fixtures.

It is a beautiful hotel and classic. Unfortunately did not get time to try the afternoon tea.

Met my expectations stayed with wife and our little doggie and was excellent the staff was great

I mostly enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. The grounds were very beautiful and peaceful. I got up early Sunday morning just to walk them when there were not many people around. The herb garden and stream were my highlights.

The Langham Huntington Hotel is a trip to a fantasy escape. Right from the setting away from the hustle bustle of any crowds to the easy access to shops and dining, this hotel has it all. The staff is professional and accommodating and the hotel lobby, grounds and rooms are nothing less than elegant. Everyone should treat themselves to this hotel for a wonderful retreat of being spoiled and pampered. Of course, at a price.....but well worth it!

I spend 6 days with my Family in The Langham Huntington.We had unforgettable time there.Next year i am definitely going back.

It is a very nice Hotel and would stay again!!1111

not so good : -having a photo shoot right next door. banging on the walls -no ice machine that worked on my floor -loud noise from early in the morning -not being told at front desk of promo with special on spa credit, valet parking credit and free robes i wont be going back, not a place you can rest. i feel i was ripped off and had to stack pillows on my head to even sleep.

Without a doubt The Langham is one AWESOME hotel. The location of the hotel is beautiful and the staff is A+ all the way. Our room had a patio which over looked the pool and where you can easily walk just a few feet to the pool. I will definitely stay there again,

best hotel in pasadena

I was there for an overnight and it was totally wonderful on every level. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the service was terrible. Every restaurant in the premise closes by 10 pm except Le Tap. We've stayed at the Langham in Pasadena many times and always enjoy the beautiful grounds and peaceful atmosphere. Rooms are very traditionally decorated and the bathroom is marble with a large tub and shower with great water pressure. Love it!
