Very comfortable bed. Great air conditioning. Clean, spacious room.

We were in town for a seminar and were looking for more reasonably priced accommodations than the hotel where the seminar was taking place. The Green Tree Inn fit the bill.

Still impressed with the room, upkeep of the facility, and the friendly staff.

Hotel must have been very full because I think I got a room that hadn't been aired out for a while. But for the price and location and the friendliness of the staff its not a bad choice.

Location is good, close to the 110 Freeway yet relatively quiet, close also to Caltech, Huntington Library and Old Pasadena. Rooms are OK, with nice amenities like refrigerators and microwaves. The bed could have used an extra blanket, though. There's a parking lot and a small underground garage for cars, which is nice given its location on Arroyo Parkway. The staff was friendly and helpful.

For the price, this hotel offers good service in downtown Pasadena. The hotel is located 4-6 blocks from old town Pasadena and near Whole Foods Market. Although on a busy road, our room was near the back of the hotel and was quiet. The room has a wall mounted air conditioning unit which was a little noisy, but kept the room comfortable. All in all we were happy with our stay.

Only blocks from old town Pasadena, this quaint little hotel is a great option for those looking to keep the hotel costs down, but not sacrifice on the experience. The Hotel has a lot of character but is clean, comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. Parking is ample with a below-ground level parking area. A block from the tram, with good restaurants and down town Pasadena within walking distance. If I stay in the LA area again, I'll be coming back here.

The people at the desk were lovely and helpful. The location was convenient to the convention center at a reasonable (last minute) price. Nothing fancy, but wasn't there much. Liked having fridge and microwave.

We stayed here to save money. It was fine enough. Parking is free. Free, small selection, of packaged breakfest foods. Location was fine. Near to Convention Center and old town. It was kinda of old inside. It was clean enough. But.....the sink drained kinda slow....the air filter on the heater/cooler you could see was very dirty. If you are just staying in Pasadena out of necessity - work or something like it --- I would stay here, it was fine. If you want a special, or romantic or interesting stay... then spend the money and stay somewhere else.

The Pasadena Inn is a wonderful place to stay in Old Town Pasadena. It was a surprisingly quiet retreat considering it was on a busy street. It was in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and theaters so you didn't have to bother with parking. The room, although small, had a very comfortable bed and great towels. The staff was always very pleasant, and extremely helpful. We were visiting relatives in the area, and it was very convenient to major thoroughfares. It has become my go to place when I am in the LA area.

The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. Train station across the street made it easy to travel to LA.

The staff was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The rooms looked old and drab. The sheets felt like they had a high content of plastic in them so they were stiff, uncomfortable, crackled when moved, making sleep extremely difficult and frequently disrupted.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Clean, comfortable, safe. Easy walking distance to Old Town Pasadena. The price was reasonable, parking included. No surprise charges. Only negative was the water pressure.

Comparing to what I read in other reviews, our stay was really OK: clean, comfy, nice staff, and just an excellent location if you want to be between Pasadena and LA + the subway stop, Whole Foods, and a few restaurants are just steps away. The only minuses: the pool is closed and breakfasts are bad (all packed and artificial).

A perfect location for traveling Pasadena city area. their staffs manner just outstanding!

One of the few motels within walking distance to Old Pasadena. Friendly staff and well maintained room and premises. Would stay again!

Very clean, large room. OK breakfast, nice neighborhood. There is a small Thai fast food restaurant just in the same building. 6.95 for lunch with free beer over $15. There is another restaurant called Houston within 100 yard. I did not go neither of them so can't comment on that but they look very clean.

The place was clean. Breakfast was reasonable for being free. WiFi failed one of three nights. Swimming pool was good. Restaurants were near by especially Whole Foods. Within reasonable walk of Old Town. California traffic was horrible but not to be blamed on the Inn. Inside parking was also available. Only negative was room was under lit.

Loved my stay at the Pasadena Inn. It was clean, quiet and super close to everything you would want to do in Pasadena. The staff was excellent.

I visit California at least once a year and I always stay in Pasadena, Ca. I've found the best hotel for the money is the Pasadena INN. I'd recommend staying there to anyone.
