Sheraton Pasadena Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

Elevators take a very long time. It became a running joke among my training cohort.

In town for a funeral and needed a total of 5 nights in Pasadena. Sheraton offering best price at the time. The property is older but in pretty decent condition. You have to pay additional for everything. Who'd think it would cost $18 a day to park. Overall a pretty good stay. The staff were helpful. I'm in Pasadena often as I lived there before. I have used several other hotels that I would say I prefer. Nice part: it's close to Old Town Pasadena.

Not bad, very comfortable. Walking distance to Old Town which is nice

Sheraton must be very good to their team, everyone on the staff was happy :) I would definitely stay here again, the building is older, you can hear other guests in the hallway coming in late at night, but overall it's a fabulous place to stay, very comfy beds!

I parked in the hotel parking garage upon arriving since there is no "check in" parking whatsoever. Only valet parking signs everywhere. There seems to be no prominent main entrance that is visible from the street or accessible without walking on the driveway but a lot of hidden, small doors that lead to the Pasadena Convention Center. With the help of cleaning staff, I found the front desk. I told the front desk that I parked in the garage and he gave me a card for access to the garage. He never mentioned that it would cost me $18 a night to park there. I found that out when I checked out the following day. The garage access card failed to work every single time I tried to use it. I had to get out of my car and return to the front desk to get a new card every time I wanted to leave the garage. Their attitude was a shoulder shrug and "It should be good now...have a nice day". So for $18 a day, I had to walk and take elevators and knock on the front desk to get someone's attention, in order to use the garage. Frustrating to say the least. Front desk staff was nowhere to be found 95% of the times I needed them. I could hear them laughing and talking but had to call out for their attention. The furniture, fixtures and lobby looks dated and very, very used. I believe it's time for a make over.

Convenient to the conference center. Loved the fact that they have a shuttle to take you wherever you want to go. The guy from India is the best employee there. He was so friendly!

Very quiet and clean room. Nice location. Parking nearby is a plus, connected to the hotel but the cost is $18.

Came for game at Rose Bowl, great stay, very easy access to game

Overall the hotel is very nice and extremely convenient to the great shops and area of Pasadena - it would be an amazing place to see the Rose Bowl preparations and things.

The location of this hotel, plus it's excellent three mile radius shuttle service and proximity to the gold line worked perfectly for us. We used the shuttle service to get to the Huntington Gardens, the Gamble House and the Norton Simon museum. We easily walked to a variety of good restaurants. The shuttle drivers were excellent sources of local information. The only disappointment ws that the pool was too shallow for adult swimming.

The hotel is located at the heart of old town Pasadena. Walking distance to Paseo Colorado. Location wise is extremely convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the room needs some update. other than that the overall experience is okay. I'd recommend this hotel if you are meeting friends or business trip.

This Hotel was great. The staff was VERY accommodating and the room was immaculate.

Last minute booking but I was extremely impressed with the staff and hotel

Overall I had a great experience especially since my reservations were made the morning of check in. The staff was exceptional. And would stay here again.

Internet was $10/day extra, I haven't paid for internet at a hotel in years. Parking was expensive, $18/day.

Clean and nice. A little pricey. Parking $18 per day.

Very nicely located for our convention. Food was excellent at the morning buffet and dinner also. Only improvement . . . . free wi-fi in rooms, I realize everyone is making a buck on it, however ....... Would definitely come to the Pasadena Sheraton again. GBH

I've never stayed at a Sheraton Hotel before and I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was great! Bruce W., in guest services was top notch-answered every question I came up with and printed out my airline boarding passes without delay upon checkout. Housekeeping was quick, pleasant and thorough. The only two things that needed improvement was that the advertised free shuttle around town was not available every time I wanted to use it, so I always had to use my car for longer excursions, and the fact that I had to pay $18/day for self parking was a surprise since that was not noted anywhere in the hotel description. Otherwise, great place to stay & would stay again. Location to everything in town was perfect. I could walk to the Paseo Colorado in minutes and it was an easy walk to all the museums, shopping and dining in Old Pasadena. All in all, my trip to Pasadena was great and staying at the Sheraton make it easy not to worry about my lodging and security at all.

HAD TO PAY FOR PARKING BUT ALL ELSE WAS EXCELLENT!

I was there one day but had a blast would stay again
