Was nice thanks. Excellent service. Great inroom dining experience.

Great property and service that remains so for decades

second stay at this gorgeous resort, everything seems to be perfect except this is second time in a row that room was not ready for check in when we arrived at the hotel at 3:30pm, otherwise entire stay was perfect. The manager did comp drinks and appetizer at the bar for the delay.

From the moment I walked in they took care of everything.

Love this hidden hotel amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. Trees make the hotel beautiful and as if you aren't anywhere near a city. Staff was attentive and awesome, every whim taken care of with no issues. Highly recommend staying here if you need to get away but don't want to travel too far.

Fantastic hotel with amazing rooms and beautiful facilities. Staff are wonderful and the privacy is 2nd to none.

This is the most amazing place to stay if you want a moment to escape LA and life and relax in style. The bar with live piano and brilliant photography is to die for as are the veggie chips. The rooms are spacious and sophisticated with everything you could dream of an more. This is one of the nicest hotels in the World. I've traveled almost everywhere and have stayed at the best and this is in my top 3. Bucket list hotel for those who really appreciate good service and staff, hotel quality and amenities.

The Hotel Bel-Air provides premium service. My experience was similiar to the comfort of my own home, but with a fantastic spa! The steam room and beauty products lured me into using their accomodations for simple daily needs. I was very impressed.

Overall, I loved this hotel--sparkling accommodations, lush gardens, lovely pool. Staff courteous and helpful. It is out-of-the-way, in a private, intimate setting. Which is great, except that you are dependent on the hotel for meals, coffee, snacks, in short--everything--because it is located in a residential area that is miles from the city. The cost of these extras exceeded the cost of the room (there is a daily charge for wifi--who charges for that anymore?). Restaurant prices are exorbitant--which I wouldn't have minded if the food were good, but it was MEDIOCRE at best…and you cannot walk down the street to other restaurants. No coffee-maker in the room (you have to buy theirs); no iron in the room (you have to pay for pressing); you get the idea. Bring lots of cash, because everyone has their hand out. My husband characterized it as the "greediest" hotel he's ever encountered. That said, I still enjoyed it! Next time, I'd probably have food delivered.

This is a beautiful 5 star hotel. You will not be disappointed with the accommodations, food, service and attentive staff. I booked through an online travel group and saved several $100 dollars. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking in this price range,

From the moment you arrive, Bel Air Hotel is everything you would expect and more. Impeccable service and beautiful rooms and decor make this hotel a must visit. My only regret is I only stayed one night!

My favorite hotel nestled in the hills of bel air. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in LA. Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds, with a world class restaurant.

one of the best hotels ever; very elegant and very well priced for location and service

There was nothing not to love during my stay at The Bel Air. Visually everywhere you looked was a reason to take out your camera. Staff was amazing...rooms were impeccable, and I definitely felt pampered! I will definitely stay at this hotel again. European elegance in California.

Every aspect of service was, as expected, top notch. Only disappointment was the highly acclaimed restaurant by Wolfgang Puck. We were seated an hour later than our reservation and my dish was over cooked and my wife's was undercooked. It was terrible. We had a great dinner the following night at Nobu on the PCH.

If I ever stay in LA and somehow DON'T stay at the Bel Air... Stick a bullet in my head. I'd done the Peninsula, Beverly Wilshire, Standard on Sunset, and even the St. Regis in Monarch Beach/Dana Point. What was I thinking??? The Bel Air is the best place I've ever stayed in LA, possibly in the country. Service, the rooms, the $100mm new upgrade, the food at Wolfgang Puck...everything's off-the-charts great and really at a whole new level from accommodations anywhere else in LA.

From the moment we arrived it felt like we were in paradise. The hotel grounds are the most beautiful in Los Angeles, the staff extremely attentive and dedicated to taking care of us, the food (by Wolfgang Puck) was artfully created and delicious. The rooms have been renovated and updated with marble and the high tech features don't really blend very well with the ambiance of the hotel. Loved it!
