Old building. Not that safe location especially during night time. But room are quite nice and staffs are very kind. I would like to recommend hotel if you have a car or there is no femal or children in your group.

I feel like the this hotel needs to be moved. Its in the middle of the hood, with homeless and people walking around begging for money/food. We didn't feel safe and the old abandoned buildings, trashy streets was not attractive at all.

Some of my coleagues have stayed in this hotel, because of its closure to US embassy, as they mentioned, nothing to complain.

Good clean hotel. Very courteous staff. The only drawback for this hotel is the neighborhood. It is kind of a shady area, but I guess most of downtown LA is like that. Parking space is kind of limited too and if you are late then could be a problem. I sure would not want to park outside and walk late night in that area

The price of a room I felt was too expensive one for the location and for the type of hotel. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Used it to go to the Naturalization ceremony at the LA Convention center. Very close to there. Great stay. Clean and convenient.

My stay here at this hotel had been great, I would've extended my stay if only I had the time. The breakfast was really good, hotel is clean so is the room, staffs are nice and the location was perfect for me. The only thing that bothered me was that you can hear noises and loud bangings coming from other rooms. Overall, I had a nice time and I'll definitely stay at this hotel again when I get back.

ok for the price, but the room that they gave us eventhough it was non smoke, it smell like cigarrette

The staff was very friendly. The room was super clean. Although the hangers were set on a low bar, so there wasn't a spot to hang up my dress. The breakfast sausages were bland but there were lots of options so a bowl of fruit loops made up for it.

Staffs were very kind and room was clean. And, it takes only 25m from main downtown by walk. The only thing I was sorry about was the location. Because the area where hotel is looked kind of dangerous. But, most of things are satisfying.

friendly staff + clean space + the more than basic amenities you need. free printing in the computer lab, free satisfying hot breakfast, pool to boot. not bad, hi express, not bad.

Stayed here for concert at staples center. Shuttle service was nice.wouldn't do much walking as neighborhood is a little sketchy.

I was worried to stay here based on other reviews and the sketchy neighborhood; however, I found the hotel to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel was clean with nice sized rooms with nice modern amenities. Given the cheap price I have no complaints.

Very clean and convenient location. If needed i would stay again

We needed a place to lay our heads for one night in close proximity to a particular art gallery in this less-than-salubrious area of Los Angeles. We didn't need (and weren't expecting) much, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel has recently been remodeled, rooms were comparable to those in more expensive hotels, and the beds were very comfortable. The run-of-the-mill continental breakfast (included) was served in a very pleasant lounge area with complimentary newspapers and state-of-the-art TV. We would certainly stay here again if the occasion arose.
