I didn’t like the double bed. The bed was not for 2 person

The property is right in the theater district where we wanted to be and in walking distance of soho area for LGBTQ bars restaurants and nightclubs 5 mins. Room was good for a few nights but small however I would stay here again because of the location

The only good thing about this place is location - walking distance from everything in central London. Probably that’s why people are still staying in that rubbish. And that’s why the owners don’t invest in any improvement. Why bother is people are still buying, right? The rooms are tiny, but it wouldn’t be a problem. Everything very old and cracked, bed is too small and absolutely uncomfortable, linen is not that clean, bathroom is a complete joke, you can fit in a shower but almost can’t move, and I’m an average lady. The “big” towel is like a handkerchief or something. No shampoo or conditioner or lotion, just a soap. They provide you with a complementary tea and coffee, but won’t refill it when it’s gone. And as a cherry on a top - it’s noisy, it’s so noisy that you can’t sleep, you can hear everything - the rooms next to yours, the street, the corridor. So yeah, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they change something.

GOOD: Location great! Close by theaters, British Museum, and subway station. BAD: Rooms are small and dated

I liked the location. Right in the middle of everything and close to all transportation. Breakfast at VQ was always excellent. The bar Hudsons House had great bartenders and housekeeping always left me a few extra towels. I can't wait to come back!

Older property but they have done a lot to update the rooms. Room was small but efficient. Great water pressure and hot water in the shower. Three restaurants at the hotel. Several more within 100 yards. The tube station is a two minute walk. Very convenient. Everyone that we encountered at the hotel was wonderful.

I enjoyed the proximity to oxford street shopping.

Cold rooms, shabby. Leaky shower. Sink doesn’t drain.

Great location. Facilities Are ok. Strong chemical smell in arrival, opened window to air out. Staff courteous. Halls could be cleaner

Great location and comfortable room. Most staff have English as second language so some communications were unclear or strained... no real problem just need to write things our or repeat. recommend this hotel for any stay in London... will return.

good economy hotel (one window) in location next to Bedford Square

The only bad thing is breakfast. One of the worst during our euro trip. But location is excellent.

Inexpensive as far as London goes, the concierge was amazing, really friendly guys and even got us a private Mercedes to Heathrow for 55 bucks, which isn't bad,a taxi would have been a lot more. The hotel itself is dated and it is not a fancy hotel. The rooms are very small but clean and it's okay for a night or two,BUT,its in a great, safe neighborhood, has a 24 hr restaurant and a nice bar for drinks, the surrounding streets have plenty of places to dine and covent garden, soho and Leicester Sq is a very short walk away....I would definitely stay there again...great place to have fun and then crash for the night.

Stayed at this hotel briefly so that I can be close to London's attractions while making an overnight connection for my flight. The location is sort of convenient, being only a few minutes from the British museum and 15 minutes from Trafalgar Square (and Big Ben/Westminster Abbey is another 15 minutes from there). The room was really small, and lacks air conditioning, so you would need to keep the window open. The lobby does have air conditioning, so we heard the sound of that machine through the open window. The toilet tank apparently takes a long time to fill up after each flush, so it pretty much can flush once every 30 minutes. Something to think about if you're not staying by yourself. There are restaurants and a casino that are part of the hotel, but we didn't visit either. It's an alright hotel, but I probably would go somewhere else next time.

Hand wash basin actually inside the shower cubical and blocked, so when you shower it filled up. The room was generally clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was not great - the cheapest possible items - plastic cheese, tinned fruit, watery juice and croissants were more like bread than a pastry product, and the toast would best be described as scorched bread

good location and noce hotel, room can be better, near oxford street and the soho

We stayed at the St Giles in Oct. Room is basic. It's a bit of an older building and showing it's age. It feels a bit like a dorm. The pluses are that it is really clean and the location and price can't be beat.
