I stayed here last week for 2 nights as attending a conference I booked online as registered to their programme and got some discount Very well locate for central London, 5 minutes walk from Royal Society of medicine building, 2 minutes from Marble Arch and Hyde park I arrived far earlier than check in time (7:30 am), the Indian receptionist was so lovely and apologised they were fully booked the night before and could not offer me a room- I didn't expect one- but I could do the check in and drop my luggage First impression always counts and this young man certainly did a star job in that! So all went smoothly for the check in, clear communication about the wifi, facilities and the fact that my bag will be in the room when I return to hotel. And that was that In the evening in my return I found my bag in the room, complementary bottled water , clean and comfy bed, working safe. It was lovely to be able to go for a run next morning prior to meeting in Hyde Park The room had air conditioning which was God sent in the heat wave Nice clean bathroom and lovely, quality toiletries (even if I normally take my own as I don't usually like hotel provided ones). A special thank you for the lovely staff- amazingly friendly, polite and professional at each interaction - thank you for a great , stress free stay. Communication is great, got a text prior to check in, one with information when room was ready(while I was away), and one before leaving for speedy online check out. - great to be kept up to date- these people understand the need to clarity and updating to perfection. They also have a little gym- which I haven't used but it's there for the willing ones! I'll definitely come back if in London- great experience
My husband and I had an amazing stay. It's a fantastic hotel in a great location, many pubs and restaurants are also close by. On arrival we were upgrade and the check in process was smooth and very friendly. All the staff were attentive, so friendly but I would like to say a big thank you to Dano and Ornela. The breakfast selection was wide and tasty!
I have stayed in many radisson hotels but this one has the smallest rooms by far! My husband and I plus our two year old in a cot meant there was no room to move in our room. Bathroom was only the width of a toilet and very small bath. Only room for one person at a time and nowhere to put any toiletries. The double bed was so small that I kept rolling onto the bedside table during the night! Added to which the very noisy air conditioning didn't make for a restful nights sleep in room 404 on one of the hottest nights of the year so far! No full length mirror in the room either...bit of a pain when you are getting ready to go out! On a positive note it's very near Hyde Park and Marble Arch but the teeny tiny room cancels out the positives!
I had a great time. My room was upgraded and the restaurant served a great breakfast. The staff were very helpful thank you especially for the recommendations by ornella i was here to see some friends and she found us some great places to hang out in central london advice only locals can give. I will come back!
I spent one week in radisson blu Sussex The hotel is very good located behind oxford street between marble arch and bond underground.in a very quiet street. The room was spacious with a sofa and big windows on first floor.the room was always cleaned well,got every day bottles of water,there was a coffee corner,iron,safe,hairdryer. The breakfast was very good,a lot of choices ..all very fresh and nice arranged. The stuff at reception was very nice and helpful I recommend this hotel and surely will stay again there on my next trip Lisa gecel room 110
I visit London reasonably regularly on business and this is a special place. This was my first visit and it is a cut above anything else I have experienced. What really set it apart from other hotels is the way it cares for its clients. From the moment I stepped into reception I felt truly cared for. The offer of a cold glass of water infused with strawberries on a swelteringly hot day was much appreciated; a wifi problem in my room was swiftly dealt with and the breakfast the following morning was excellent. One particular staff member, Caroline, at reception was excellent and extremely friendly but everyone I came into contact with was excellent. I would heartily recommend this hotel to any visitors to London
We have stayed here several times over 5 years. The hotel is a beautiful building sadly at the back of Marks and Spencer Oxford street branch. Clearly the hotel was built before Oxford Street became the monolith it is now! Service is generally good. The hotel does not actively promote its services, for example, difficult to find an in room service menu. We eventually ordered a good meal but it was not easy. We stayed on the top floor, ceiling height low - it felt as if we were on a boat - I personally loved it but taller people would struggle - I think the reception staff have been trained to offer the more diminutive this floor for rooms. Would return as it represents relative good value for money given the central location
We decided to stay in London to celebrate our anniversary and we were also seeing The Lion King. It was a great stay and when we arrived reception we're very welcoming and having some ice cold water available was so refreshing as it was so hot outside. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was lovely, a little small but we were happy. The complimentary gesture was very sweet and we were touched the peter rabbit chocolates were delicious! Thank you! The bathroom was a little small but manageable. It was all very clean and tidy and we had a great night sleep with no disturbances or noises. We had a drink from the bar I had a cocktail which was very nice I would recommend The Passionate! Breakfast was very nice and the food was really well cooked and there was lots of it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in London, it's like a 2 minute walk from Marble Arch station, staff were lovely and wanted to make sure you had a great stay. Thank you for making us feel very welcome!
Room tiny. Like a single Avoid room 122. Sit on loo to brush your teeth. Nice view of brick wall. Lighting in room terrible. Toilet soaps from dispensers. Breakfast mediocre. Staff didn't speak English. Like a downmarket b&b except it cost £289. Avoid
I really enjoyed my stay. here for business. People were convininent and warm, they helped me with some issues and gave me a bigger room. The gym was open until late and the breakfast very good with a ot of choices ! The bed was confortable. I could go anywere from the hotel, that is near Baker street.
