I stay frequently at this hotel with work and the service from the front desk, management and restaurant staff is always excellent. Nothing is too much bother, food and drinks always good quality, rooms clean and comfy. Bathrooms are small but it's a small hotel with a great location and priced very competitively.
This hotel has a great location beside Oxford Street, Hyde Park and a 40 minute walk to Trafalgar square. The staff are helpful, friendly and could not do enough. I would recommend this hotel as a great base for your stay in London.
Only stayed the night for an event with work. I have to say the room was lovely. Plenty of space (which a lot of London hotels lack!) and a great big bathroom! Decor was really nice too, in the room and around the hotel! I have to say, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and good quality food and a nice atmosphere. Only issue I had with the hotel was a long wait for a lift which only works using your room key, but that didn't work with my room key and ended up sending me to some staff area!! I'm sure it must have been me though! The staff were lovely and very helpful. A great hotel, pricey but for London I'd say definitely worth it!
The hotels location is fantastic for Park Lane/Hyde Park/Oxford Street/Mayfair/Bond Street and surrounding areas. The hotel has been created from a Victorian Terrace of houses. Unfortunately it faces the very utilitarian back of the retailers on Oxford Street, so please bear in mind there are almost zero views and as it's a row of terrace houses the entire building is only 4 stories high. Impressive, friendly welcome and check in. My twin room was on the second floor by the lift. It was very small. The shower-room almost claustrophobic. At the end of the day I only spent 7 hours in the room, the bed was comfortable and the blind did a good job of keeping out the light, so I slept well. Worth noting the breakfast was almost inedible. Curried baked beans - really? A very acquired taste. The bacon looked like and tasted like it had been cooked at 4am and then left to slowly cook itself to death. So an opportunity to gain a star back was lost. I will not stay again.
Everything went so gorgeous. please one important issue to rise is that the size of the rooms till the business one were so small, I guess if possible to find a solution for it. Other is I stated before that the left of the services should be separated from the guest one, only one is not enough since it was quite used all the time.
A perfectly located hotel for central London. For shops, night life , theatres bars & all that London is renowned for. The breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, continental & cooked breakfasts . An excellent spread.
I was so impressed with the entire experience at this Radisson. We have stayed at both the Kenilworth and Bloomsbury and can say, hands down, the Sussex is ten times the rest. We arrived and were greeted with a drink, doors opened and welcomed nicely. Our room was immaculate, well furnished and once again, one of the best I've seen. We chose to eat out, however the room service was great and once again the staff were so friendly. In the morning we had a full breakfast which was worth every penny and I can only grumble about the fact we received no toast or fried bread. Overall this was a 5* experience and I'd happily return to one of their executive rooms.
The room was horrible, very small, not even a table to work. Paint smell, workers upstairs, three times to reception the key not working, the bathroom was very very small The worst RadissonBlu I have Ever Been in.
I had a single room which was very compact and the Aircon was a little strong and noisy but the staff really made this hotel. From the front desk to housekeeping and the team at breakfast, everyone I spoke to was so nice and helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was having a good stay. Would definitely recommend and it is a great location right off Oxford Street.
The hotel is conveniently located behind Marks and Spencer's Oxford Street store. We were always greeted warmly as we entered the premises. There is only one lift which is used by both staff and guests so the demand is great. We decide to prepay for breakfast which was quite good value but the flight on our last day was brought forward and did not allow us to have breakfast. I asked for a refund of £30 the day before our departure and was told that such a refund was not possible. Rather short sighted of the hotel manager.
