Radisson Blu Edwardian Sussex Hotel

You may compare the size of a double room annex bathroom with the size of a small camper. No space to put your trolley, no (wall) hanger at all to dry a wet coat, claustrofobian feeling, terrible! One small elevator has to be shared by guests, staff and services, It takes minutes before one can go up or down. Staff is friendly, breakfast ok. Rooms are clean.

My wife and I recently stayed at the radisson hotel from the 31dec - 2 February to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and new year . The hotel was in a perfect spot and les than 3 min walk to Oxford Street and marble arch underground is about 5 mins away .On our arrival we were upgraded to a kings size room as it was our anniversary which was very nice of them to do they had also put some nibbles in our room and a couple of love swans with rose petals which was a nice touch. There r sweets in reception to help yourself and a steak and lobster restaurant in hotel so don’t have to travel far for a nice meal . Staff r friendly and can honestly say that we will b back . We had perfect nights sleep . I’d recommend this hotel to anyone

We stayed here a second time. The hotel Is nice and comfortable. We had a room in the back and it was quiet. Rooms were a good size. The location is excellent- Clive to shopping, Hyde Park and tons of restaurants and sights. Easy to walk to most anything!

After having read with trepidation the negative reviews of this hotel, I was somewhat apprehensive checking in. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find everything from the check in, to our room, the courtesy of all the staff I encountered to be excellent. There was a bit of confusion when checking in, as it was advertised on the website as breakfast included, but the girl checking us in said it wasn't. However, within a few mins of arriving at our room, she rang to say they would honour the free breakfast. Room - I booked a Deluxe Room, and we had a corner room on the side of the building, opposite offices. I read that some people complained the office staff could see you, but we just pulled the blinds down, no problem. The room itself was lovely and quirky, as its a listed building, so one wall and the floor was slightly tilted, but thought this just added to the quirkiness. We had a sofa, a really comfy double bed (had a wonderful night's sleep) Wifi and TV and a desk. Whilst the bathroom was really bijou, it was adequate for one person at a time. All the staff were warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast - I have stayed in hotels all over the world, from USA to Spain to South Korea, and have never seen a breakfast with such variety. There was a hot buffet, cold meats and cheeses, fruits, yoghurts, nuts, avocado spread, jams, breads, croissants....I could go on! My only gripe was that the buffet needs to be hotter, but apart from that, excellent. Its a lovely quirky building in an excellent location and would not hesitate to recommend this for a central stay in London, being so close to Oxford St and Marble Arch and Bond St Tubes. Please do not write off this hotel because of the previous negative comments. There is a number of rooms, which will enable you to have a fantastic stay, and I'm sure the lovely staff will try to accommodate you in ensuring you have a wonderful time, as we did. I will definitely go back to this lovely quirky hotel again on my next visit to the UK. (From UK, but living in US). As the old adage says, you get what you pay for, and the deluxe room 402 certainly was worth the money we paid. I'll be asking for this one on my next visit. Lovely, just wish we could have stayed longer

Excellent hotel brilliant devoted staff great breakfast and smazing lobster at the resturant with reasonable price house keeping is professionale and the front office team is very qualified this was my second stay and would stay again

Great location ,10 steps from Oxford street and Marble Arch. In front of the Primark. Very nice staff. The rooms are very good, however they have some rooms with stairs witch isn't comfortable at all and very small - not for couple, maybe single..(they should charge less for those rooms)

Stayed one night at the Hotel. Perfectly located close to shopping, restaurants and more. Steak and lobster restaurant next door. Good service from staff. Nice, clean rooms and quiet off Oxford street. Will stay again!

Great for a one night stopover, excellent location just behind Selfridges. Lovely conversion of period terraced houses but modern inside. They have a large proportion (30%) of single rooms. Mine was on the 3rd floor and was quiet. But be aware these are seriously compact and didn't even have a chair or stool. The shower was very compact too but just about manageable, Breakfast was superb, well worth finding a rate including breakfast (£20 otherwise).

Conveniently located just off Oxford Street near Marble Arch but little else to distinguish this particular hotel. The restaurant looked reasonably impressive but we declined to use it given the abundance of restaurants in the area.

A small 4 star hotel located near Marble Arch just behind Oxford Street, 4 minutes walk to M&S and all the shopping. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant and the rooms clean and constantly serviced. Amenities are above basic but perhaps not quite what I might expect for a 4 star hotel. The food is standard, and the service in the restaurant was sometimes a little confused, but extremely pleasant and willing to cater to requests. The beds are very comfortable and I even slept bettter than at home.
