I come to London often for work and have stayed at many hotels. In many other places single rooms tend to be quite small, cramped, and badly designed. This was one of the best single rooms I have had. While not large it was comfortable and was well designed. It was also very clean and had good light (my room was on the 6th floor). It also had an air conditioner which is not always available in London hotels. It was unusually warm while I was in London so I was very glad to have this. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very accommodating and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and had a nice selection. The only issue I had was that when some of the other guests slammed their doors it was quite loud (and shook my door) and woke me on a couple of occasions. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily return.

this is a very nice property in an excellent location. Nice restaurant for authentic uk cuisine, and the staff are extremely helpful and nice.

This is a gem - -located just down the street from the British Museum. You can walk to the shows in the West End - -and to a lot of the sites and shopping very easily. The hotel has a great vibe to it. The rooms have everything you need - and are very tastefully decorated. I was in a single -- it's close to cruise ship size - but I loved it. The breakfast was fantastic -- everything on the buffet including smoked salmon (!) the weekend I was there. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay there again!

Small hotel. Stayed for a night on a solo trip. Was convenient for the tube.

One of the best locations in London, close to the British Museum and steps away from shopping on Oxford Street. I've stayed here several times, and will likely stay again in the future.

Right across the street from the British Museum, so it is pretty close to everything in London. Close to tube station if not. It is just a 15 or 20 minute walk to Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, etc. Its not cheap, but not bad for central London. I have no complaints at all.

Though I was a bit surprised by the size of the room, seeming more like a lovely samall cabin on a cruise ship, the room had all the ameneties one might hope for. Coffee and tea. An ironing board and iron. Free wifi (though the signal was not so strong) And a deliciously prepared breakfast buffet. The staff was quite friendly and more than accomodating for a very late check out!

Awesome Bloomsbury location that is just a block from the British Museum. Problem is that Satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and printer for boarding passes didn't function properly for two days! Planet Earth to IT maintenance...hello?

Definitely enjoyed my stay. Service was great,, breakfast tasty, and location ideal. The bed was small and not extremely comfortable. I would definitely book a double even for one person next time.

Good location, though does border a traffic'd road so i'd request room that does not border on Wolvengracht Street. Bed was average (not particularly plush, but comfortable), room had a slight odor, but with most hotels that is just a random thing rather than an overall issue with the hotel. Wifi was free and pretty good. I'd recommend, but not resoundingly.

The staff were very responsive. The room was a bit small but normal for Europe in general I believe. The location was great. On a very cute walkable street. Would definitely stay there again. Near theaters and restaurants.

Wonderful staff Fantastic location. Can walk everywhere and very close to Tube station Would definitely stay there on my next visit to London

This hotel was about two minutes away from the British Museum. Covent Garden is 10 minutes away. It was about 15 minutes in the theatres. So, location is great. The room was small, but comfortable. I received one with a shower, which was small. The breakfast was good which a lot to choose from, such as an english breakfast or cereal or toast or pastries. I enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone.

The staff and location of this hotel were fantastic. They checked us in early the day of our arrival and were even able to offer a room upgrade at no cost. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of room. The bath was a little different, as we had a high walled tub with a shower head. It was a little tricky getting in out of the shower, what with the beautiful but slippery marble tile floors. It was a grand surprise to have a US 110V outlet in the room! What a bonus. The concierge staff was exceptional (ask for Michael!). We would highly recommend this hotel. Location was perfect for subway and bus transport.

The room is very small, and everything is very expensive. The location is very hard to find. Some of staff are not very nice.

staff superfriendly beautiful room very clean nice bathroom can't get any better !

First offered tiny claustrophobic room. After complaining, was offered a bigger room later in the day. The second room was very good

Very nice hotel, great location, very clean and comfortable, outstanding staff. Great choice when visiting London

Very friendly staffs. Excellent location with good price.

I went on this trip by myself and was there to see all the major tourist sites. I arrived Late Friday and left very early monday. Location - Hotel was ~1-1.5 miles away from major tourist sites (expect about a 20-25 minute walk). Room - Restroom was very updated and nice. There was wi-fi/internet. The carpet was very old and dirty looking, the bed/mattress was very hard and stiff not comfortable at all (beds usually don't bother me or my back). Staff - Very friendly and helpful
