AC controls were not working in my room. Had to go down to front desk many times to complain before I got a change of room. There is also no conditioners in the bathroom.

The room was the size of a shoe box. My husband and I had to take turns walking around so we wouldn’t bump into each other . We were woken up EVERY flipping morning by construction work two rooms down. 6:57 , 7:O3 . the entire time stay . I do have to say , the staff were very nice but overall the experience sucked .

Pros - 12-15 min walk to liverpool st undergound station/easy access to other lines. cons- "air conditioning" listed - but you can't adjust up or down at all. claustrophobic/stuffy- esp in room without windows/during heat wave in london. cleaning is only every 4th day of stay!! while listed "as request"

Hotel is in a great location and the facilities are good for the (London) price - the hotel is great although the bedrooms are a bit 'cozy' so only share with someone you love or like!! For the price, very friendly, helpful staff and location I would stay here again, . . . .park at the NCP car park which is a 5 minute walk, it is by far the best price option!!

A room without a view

Purchased the cheapest (windowless) room. Location-wise it was perfect for Shoreditch that night and Liverpool Street station the following morning. Reception staff were friendly. The room was clean and compact but you could hear noise from the corridor.

Literally the worst night of sleep I’ve had in years. I had a windowless room which is totally fine as was a crash pad for a few hours, and yet for some absurd reason there was a fake window with some sort of light simulation behind it. The light was like daylight and on all night, and the pathetic curtain did nothing. I don’t think I actually slept. On top of this the room felt like it was in a building site - with many of the surrounding rooms being apparently refurbished.
