The pool was the highlight. The rooms were great but the breakfast was a bit caotic felt like we were in peoples way when getting food. Also ordered pizzas for room service which were cold and hard but convenient

Could have been better

The room was not ready on arrival as apparently Housekeeping were still working on it. They were going to change rooms however it became available so unsure if this happened. The bed was very comfortable and accessories were lovely, however the room was tatty with scratches on the floor and a chair was all scratched up. Did expect more from the Park Plaza. In the evening, there was not much variety for food, only options available were foods with gluten in, nothing else available. In the morning, I realised that the shower gel was empty so had to use hand soap instead.

The hotel was amazing! Loved the free breakfast and the rooms were great. Staff is excellent, and the location is perfect. Close to metro stations, and walking distance to so many London sites. We hope to visit again.

The superior king room didn't have a king bed it had a queen bed. The location of the soap in the bathroom was too high for the kids to reach by themselves. The shower didn't drain. But the room was nice, clan and comfortable. The small café next door called "Beeyond" had the best breakfast, staff and coffee.

One of our favourite hotels in London and perfectly located near Waterloo. The review would normally be 5 stars for every option, but this year there were a couple of small issues (may not seem major, but when you're paying for somewhere like the Park Plaza, you expect it). The bathroom this year was in poor condition with the sliding door between shower and toilet extremely hard to move. We did tell reception, sadly no one came to check it out. We were also missing a refresh of coffee, towels and water in the room on our final night. We didn't get back to the hotel until 2am on our last (third) night, so missed spotting these until the morning.

They could have clean our room better and check if we need tissue or toilet paper we need to ask for it. The shuttle driver to the airport is extremely friendly and excellent. He made our journey to the airport quick not not boring.

We didn’t get room cleaning even after requesting it, didn’t call me after I reserved a wake up call to catch my flight, otherwise staff was courteous and hotel is nice. Best part was breakfast, large selection of food. Beds very comfortable, and shower was great.

Overall a great stay

Very good room, very clean and comfortable. Florentine restaurant meal was good but boy did they try and rush you in and out. The hotel app failed to check me in or out, only success was the booking of the pool. Really enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam room.

Nice room, shame about breakfast

The. Room was comfortable and good value, and the hotel well located for a London city break, or a longer holiday visiting London and south-east England. However, catering let them down: when asked for decaf tea, both for the room refreshments and at breakfast, it took several requests before we were told that it is not available; there were long queues for breakfast, even outside their busy period; and the quality of the hot buffet left a lot to be desired. Overall breakfast at £22 each was diabolical value!
