Second time there, and even though there was construction going on, it was a great place to stay. Staff is great

Hotel is under going major renovation work - our room was new, clean and well equipped and a good value. Common areas are incomplete and the corridor trek to the elevators may turn you off. dining areas and lounge are temporary set-up, which caused us to go elsewhere for a drink after day 1. Beds are not great for support.

Just off of Hyde Park and and easy 5 minute walk to Paddington Station. If you are walking from the tube station you may have a little trouble finding it due to the remodeling it is undergoing, but it is the tallest building in the area. Totally worth the effort to find. The staff was unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The newly renovated rooms are well thought out, quiet, sparkling clean and have USB charging plugs EVERYWHERE! The new bathrooms are gorgeous - we stole many of the ideas for our own master bath remodel - raindance shower, frameless glass shower door, heated bathroom floor and heated towel rack. All granite and marble. The location is the best part of all. Close to Paddington which will enable you to take the tube or the national railway to anywhere. The area around Paddington gives you the opportunity to easily find a local pub or restaurant. The one thing we learned the hard way is that the minibar is automated. I put a bottle of wine I had bought in the minibar. Everything that I moved in the minibar to accommodate my bottle of wine was charged to my room automatically. The front desk staff resolved that issue with just a phone call, but it was a surprise that cropped up at the end of our stay. Absolutely recommend the Lancaster London. Wonderful place to sta

Stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms. Very modern and comfortable. The great location remains!

The hotel is already a great place to meet in addition to being well situated near Paddington and Hyde Park. There are nice restaurants nearby. The only downer is that the nearby Lancaster Gate tube station is closed.

The location is midway between Paddington and where my clients are located. There is also Hyde Park and many nice places to eat nearby. The only downside was that the room was small as was the bathroom. They gave me a room within an hour of my AM arrival well in advance of the 2 PM check-in.

The Lancaster is undergoing complete renovation. My corner room was fabulous. Windows on all sides, with a breathtaking view of London. Room was large and furniture well arranged. I had plenty of space.

Excellent location clean hotel , rooms are small but other then that had a great stay right across the street from Hyde park and a two block walk to coffee shops and restaurants. There was construction going in the hotel but no noticeable at all . 10/2016

The hotel was nice nice and the staff friendly. The room was small but that was expected. The neighborhood is similar to upper east side manhattan. The bars and restaurants all close at 11:30 -12:00. A block away from the underground

Such a wonderful staff and really went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable, welcome, and pampered. So much so, I sent an email to the gm my first night because I was so happy with the choice I made. Over the moon and I won't stay anywhere else in London!!

The hotel is in a very convenient location. Very close to the train and other public transportation. The staff was friendly. If you are on a budget this is a good option. However, the restaurants in the hotel are very expensive.

This hotel was clean and comfortable and the nicest we saw while walking around the Paddington section of the city which has no shortage of hotels.

Rooms are small but that is typical in Europe. The location is great - tube stop right around the corner. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is over the top with everything you can want.

The Lancaster is a very old building, yet amenities are superb. The location cannot be beaten, being on top of a tube station, very short walking distance to Oxford Street, Marble Arch, Bayswater/Queensway, and right across the road from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. You can walk to almost anywhere centrally. The room was terrific ... but then again we booked the Royal Suite. Breakfast was great but overpriced.

The location close to parks & general downtown area was very convenient as we did not want to spend any time in the traffic. Definitely would come back.

Value for money ok but not luxurious as it appears

I enjoyed my trip... Everyone was so nice and pleasant.

Hotel is ideally situated overlooking Hyde Park and only a short bus ride from Oxford St and all the sites of London. They were having some renovation work done, which meant noise after about 10am, but really not that much of a bother. Staff were a little unfriendly, but efficient. Rooms were clean, bright and comfortable

Great location, clean and quiet rooms.Every time I visit the hotel its a wonderful experience.

the location is great, you can walk to the downtown. The bed is very confortable, and the service at reception very helpfull and kind
