Our Orbitz reservation never made it to the front desk systems. They took my $499.80, and Orbitz has denied me a refund. Saying that I cancelled the reservation. Hard to believe that we're 22 years in to the 21st century and state of technology and supporting of that technology is so arcane. I asked the folks at the front desk to book us any room available and I’d pay for any overages. They made some weak excuse that they were locked out of their system, they also had no free rooms, and we’d have to go someplace else. It was an absolutely awful experience. All at 11:30pm in the middle of Leicester Square. If you're so inclined to stay at this property, you're better off going directly to the hotel to make the reservation. It's clear there's an issue between Orbitz and this property's reservation system.
Location is amazed. Staff is highly professional. Rooms are very vell developed.
The hotel was in a great location in one of the busy, tourist areas. The great thing was that even though it was noisy outside because of the tourism, the windows were pretty much sound proof. Upon check-in though the front desk said to us that we were only booked for one night but when I assured them it was 2 nights he did fix it quickly. I do think for a 4-star hotel the rooms could be a bit fancier but I did appreciate the in-room coffee/tea/biscuits. The only issue was that there was construction being done to the attached Costa coffee and we could hear the noise from it pretty late at night around midnight and super early in the morning around 6am. Other than that a great stay.
