Stay went very well. Close to family there in London.

$100 difference in price from the quote at the time. Prices are in GBP not USD. Hotel then charged me in USD on my credit card instead of GBP. The rooms are okay, walls are thin and this is an average hotel. There's some odd smells going on in the Bar area. Last time I posted a negative review on this site it was deleted. Location is about 10mins walk from Kings Cross.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in London. Close proximity to tourist sites with a couple Tube Stations close to the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes walk from a major Tube stop. Near to many restaurants and shops. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

All the stafff at the front desk were tremendously helpful and polite. They bent over backwards to help us when we need help getting to the airport and using the computer to communicate with the airline. We would be so frustrated without their know how and kindness.

The Double Tree by Hilton was very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with warm cookies at the desk, provided us with a 20 GBP hotel coupon and replacement room when our first room had a plumbing issue, and rescued my daughter's brand new engagement ring from the drain the morning we had to return home. The neighborhood is safe day and night, has plenty of international food choices and lively pubs, plenty of unique shops, a large grocery store, two-story mini-mall, and a police station one block away. We will stay there again.

I booked this hotel as it was close to my training location, but it turned out to be an excellent choice. Islington has many pubs and restaurants, different in price and atmosphere. I was glad to see the mini fridge was not pre-filled with overpriced useless stuff but ready for storing products of my choice from nearby Sainsbury or night store. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near Angel underground station and several bus stops. Would definitely stay again !

I would definitely stay at Jury's Islington again. The location was a short walk to the Angel station on the Northern line. It was a great location to get to the sights. The rooms were very reasonable, the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel and guest room was very clean and modern. Their breakfast buffer was a great bargain.

Room was excellent, staff was responsive and courteous. Location was minutes from the Angel Underground station, but not on the beaten path, seemed an odd place for a hotel. Good value for price. Free WiFi, but had to go down to bar each time wanted ice...a glass at a time. Being American and liking lots of ice, it was tiresome, but not unbearable. Not lots in the area at night for restaurants but found an excellent Italian place called Dolcetto that made up for it! Would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay and its near the EuroStar train station.

Nice location to get around the city with easy underground access as well as restaurnts, pubs, and grocery stores. Storage space is very limited in the rooms (no drawers) so I am guessing this hotel is geared to short stays. Room was cleaned well dily and the front staff very easy to engage. Would go back despite being pricey due to poor exchange rate with Sterling Pound.

Jury's Inn Islington is conveniently located just one block from the Angel tube stop, which makes it easy to get almost anywhere in London. The Piccadilly line (which runs to Heathrow airport) is only one stop away from Angel. Our room was a corner room on the 4th floor, with 3 windows affording an excellent view of the neighborhood and several London landmarks in the distance. It had a full bath, very clean and nicely decorated, very brightly lit and with better water pressure from the shower than most hotels have. The room had a comfortable double bed with small night tables mounted to the wall on either side, and individual lighting for each side of the bed. The room had it's own thermostat and was easy to regulate for a comfortable temperature. A desk/table was opposite the foot of the bed and had the TV at one end. There was an open closet with several shelves and a hanging rack but no dressers/drawers. This was adequate space for what my wife and I needed for our stay there. Continental breakfast included tea/coffee, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, rolls/croissants with butter/jam, and yogurt. Full breakfast is also offered. there is also a pub/restaurant just off the hotel lobby but we didn't eat here during our stay. There are numerous pubs and several restaurants along Upper St north of the Angel tube station.

Dear Peter, Thank you very much for taking your time to share your feedback about your stay with us. I am happy to see that our location met your preferences. Regarding your walk from Kings Cross tube station, I imagine that with luggage is not really comfortable to make these 15min walk, that's why we suggest to take the tube till Angel Tube station. Concerning the prices, usually the prices are shown in local currency, however you have the option to change to a different currency before you make the booking. Guest's feedback are very important for us to keep improving our services and to correct anything once wrong. I hope our suggestions helped you as well in case of any future bookings. Best regards, Pedro Moutela Duty Manager DoubleTree by Hilton London Islington
