This is a lovely flat – beautifully decorated and appointed -- in an ideal location for exploring London. The neighbourhood has a ‘village' feel, but it's very convenient to get to Central London in a matter of minutes. Being right on Highbury Fields, the largest open space in this borough of London – is a particular delight. The not-so-good news: before I arrived, a blind had fallen down and a handyman was not able to put it back up while I was there. The bed-side lamp didn’t work. I would have liked some way to make fresh coffee-- a drip machine, filter cone or cafetière. The windows hadn't been cleaned for a while, so the beautiful views were somewhat obscured. I'm confident these issues have been remedied for future guests. The one policy that I hope gets changed: only 2 rolls of toilet paper were provided for a 9-day stay. When I asked about it where the rest was stored, I was told: “I am afraid we only offer consumables for the first two days of the stay." Never in my life have I stayed in a place that rationed toilet paper! Having said all that, none of these issues ruined my stay. I would happily stay there again.
