This hotel is very clean but very small, like Tokyo-sized rooms. No place to put luggage, no counter or shelf in bath or shower, and very narrow hall and doorways. Double bed with tight spacing around 3 sides. I'm 6ft so my feet hung off the bed and I had to walk into the room sideways. Construction is going on across the street, so a lot of noise for the foreseeable future. AC works but shuts off so i had to get up 2x in the middle of the night to turn it back on otherwise the room got stuffy. You can open windows slightly, which is nice when pub smokers have gone home. All staff were very nice and helpful and i made use of the free Guardian and Financial Times. Hot water works immediately.
The location is central, however, there is a large construction site just outside of the hotel with tremendous noise that starts early in the morning and goes all day. The rooms are clean but a bit cramped. Be sure they give you the room you booked. The cookies at the reception are very tasty.
