Showed up late and didn't have any trouble with them letting us in. It was nice.

Convenient place for UAMS visit. Beds could be more comfortable but overall nice people and safe.

Was older and in need of updating. I could vaguely smell cig smoke in the non smoking room.

The room was clean, and staff was great. nice place for a short term stay.

Hotel was marketed as having a pool, but DID NOT. There was also a lack of food and seating for the continental breakfast.

This room was a good deal for us visiting family that was 1.7 miles away. The room was generally clean but one of the pillow cases had a splotch of blood on it. There was another splotch of blood on the wall next to the sink. Not quite sure how it got there but it wasn't noticed well enough to be cleaned. The room didn't have carpet but rather the fake wood looking plastic stuff. Not a big deal but just not as comfortable. Some of the floor too looked warped like there had been standing water on it for a while. Besides a bar of soap for hands and a bottle of lotion, the only other stuff in the room was an large shampoo and body wash dispenser like the kind in public restrooms. No conditioner. The staff was nice however we didn't get our room tidied the first or second night (we stayed three nights). We put a note on the pillow case with blood on it to just change the pillow case because of the stain. When we returned, the pillowcase was removed and the uncovered pillow was left on the bed. The last day we were there, thanksgiving day, the house keeper knocked on our door and asked if we wanted our bed made or needed extra towels. I said yes but to come back in a bit because we weren't ready yet. Five minutes later she came back but we were still there. She said she had to get off the clock by noon so she needed to make the bed now if we wanted it. We agreed even though we were both still getting ready. It wasn't that big of a deal but just kind of annoying that we needed to accommodate the hotels need to get the employees off the clock soon so they don't have to pay them more money for working on a holiday. We certainly saved money but next time I would rather spend a few more dollars for a nicer place that we can relax more in.

1st look at outside of hotel gives one 2nd thoughts. But once in room it was quite very clean. Not to bad for price m left item behind and hard to find out if anyone had found it

Like 3 blocks from uams. So worked out great. Clean room. Ok breakfast. All in all a great deal for the price.

Very friendly staff Spacious room Nice view from my room

Great location to UAMS! Used Markham Suites for one night while I stayed in the area to take my dental hygiene state board exam. Clean, moderately comfortable beds, and nice staff!

I chose Markham House Suites for it's location. It was within a mile of the places we wanted to be near. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, the shuttle service was great and the staff was courteous and efficient. We also used the internet and the laundry facilities. I hightly recommend Markham House Suites to anyone visiting Little Rock.

I had requested a clean quiet room. They gave me run down room that smell. bugs inside the room. They have two buildings. since I book via Internet they put me in old building. Shower hanle was so tight, I had call to fix it. Staffs are friendly though. The main concern I have is that it appears they assign bad room to the people who book via Internet.

I went to Arkansas for a graduate school interview and was recommended by the faculty to stay there due to it being close to the UAMS campus and having a shuttle that goes to the campus and in a 5 mile radius around the hotel. I enjoyed my experience there and thought that the hotel was fine. I would say that it is pretty average with other hotels. However, it was very convenient if one needs to go to the UAMS campus or hospital for treatment.

It wasn't amazing, but wasn't a terrible place to stay. I only stayed there because I was needing to be at the UAMS center early the next morning. Great location.

Location was good, close to good restaurants and medical complex and shopping. Motel is dated and need refurbishing but about what we expected. Price was a bit overvalued but overall I would rate it a B-.

I was here for a mere 7 hours so its hard to give a full review. However, the staff was super nice and the rooms are very comfortable! Great value!

First problem was at check in. I reserved and paid for a King size bed, and upon check in they stated they were "out" of those rooms, so they put me in w/Queen size bed. I'm over 6'3", so that was a problem. THEN, they would not adjust my room rate, even though there was a price difference. Room had a "musty" smell, bed was pretty comfy, no complaint there. I have a CPAP machine, and cannot stay in rooms that have odors. It went downhill from there. They were rude.

The hotel caters to individuals who are going to UAMS for medical care. They go over and above what I expected. The shuttle service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was nice and very clean. The staff was freindly. Great location!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not quite as nice as what I'm accustomed to but are ok. I had gotten a quote at the Hilton and they wanted a very high price for a twin bed and it's only a few blocks from this hotel. The Hilton wouldn't budge on their price preferring to have empty rooms than to accept my reasonable offer. But that's ok, it's not my loss since I'm the one who holds the money and it's a buyers market in the slow hotel business in a slow economy. Not sure what's going on with Hilton because in Chicago, Memphis and St Louis I've gotten Hilton hotels and others just as nice or nicer for a hundred dollars or under even during Christmas. Anyway, I felt the Hilton was far too overpriced. I found this place which has basically all the same amenities as the Hilton and paid sixty under their price and I got a king bed too! I'm a student so I would say this is a good value for the money. So if you're considering the Hilton there are other far better values in Little Rock. Just shop around. If a hotel won't give you a fair deal, keep looking for a hotel that is willing to work hard to earn your business such as the Markham House Suites.
