This hotel was fantastic! I've been a fan of 21c for years, and this one does not disappoint. Everything about the visit was easy. The room was clean, well-appointed, and designed for ease. The art was interesting and I liked feeling immersed in it every time I walked in. There is seating throughout the hotel that invites you to slow down, spend some time with the art and relax. They have reusable water bottles and water bottle filling stations on each floor. The staff were great too. We had dinner at The Hive restaurant, which was delicious and the staff were superb. We really enjoyed Wyatt, with whom we had a great conversation, and gave local flavor to our visit. It was the perfect place to spend 3 days.

The worst part of the hotel was the smell of smoke, like a bbq smoker, that seeped all around the hotel. I could smell it laying in bed in the second floor. You couldn’t escape it. The restaurant was not super allergy or kid friendly. Rows of empty tables, yet telling us it was a 30 minute wait for breakfast. Housekeeping turned over the room, but we were left without refills of soap and shampoo for three days. The hotel is older, with some parts of it being redone. Overall it was clean, quirky and comfortable, but you could tell it was older.
