We stop here often on our way from AZ to CO and have always had a great experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and updated. They also serve an excellent breakfast with many choices. I highly recommend.

We stopped at this hotel in las Vegas New mexico. Have never stopped here before. Very nice hotel. Got checked in fast and easy. Front desk help was very polite. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was also very good. Will definitely stay here in the future.

We have been stopping at this hotel for 10 years in our many road trips between Colorado and Arizona. We usually arrive late in the evening after 5-7 hours of driving. In winter, we sometimes have driven through snow. Walking into the lobby of this hotel is like arriving home. The front desk staff is always friendly, courteous and smiling. Our check in is quick and seamless and we are soon in our warm, clean room. The breakfast service is among the best we have found in any hotel. In our many visits over 10 years, I have always found the hotel to be super clean - Always. More often than not, when we are there, the hotel is close to fully occupied. On a stormy winter night, it is an oasis for desperate travelers. It is always quiet. We travel a lot as we are semi retired. Have stayed in many hotels in many states. This is one of the best. I always enjoy staying at a hotel that was designed and built well. These hotels hold up well over time and continue to look good for many years after they were built. This is such a hotel. When we first stayed here 10 years ago, I noticed that it was well designed and had been built with quality features. Whenever we are there, I am grateful for those decisions made in the beginning. This building still looks like new after 10 years - inside and out. That makes us feel good and safe. We just left a few days ago and are looking forward to when we will return in the near future. Thank you to Kay and her wonderful staff for such a pleasant stay.

We were tired and in need of showers after two days of canoeing and camping in the Rio Grande Gorge. The first place we came to as we approached Las Vegas along I-25 was the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly and the breakfast has many of my favorites, including the pancake making machine! The only drawback was when we returned from our pizza dinner downtown, there were only 2 fresh baked chocolate chip cookies left for the three of us. I split one with my son and it was quite delicious.

We had a little trouble finding this place, but, once we did it was an oasis compared to the rest of town that we had to drive through while trying to locate our hotel(a little shady). This Hotel is at the south end of town all by its self. You have to drive a mile or so to find any where to eat. The hotel seems to be relatively new, with nice rooms, the staff was great. Glad we stayed here.

Normally I use La Quinta Inn, but Las Vegas, NM doesn't have one. So l decided to go to Holiday Inn because it looked very good in the pictures and it wad relatively close to the Hospital we were visiting due to my husband's health. The hotel is nice, looked clean and inviting. However the person in charge of the reception fell short to my expectations, considering I was paying 50% more than my usual hotel fee for a similar room. I requested a fridge ( l thought a big room like that would have a fridge for sure, but I was wrong. No problem, I called requesting one. I waited and waited for about two hours, nothing. Mind you, there weren't that many guests in the hotel either. I called again, receptionist said he gad forgotten about the request. My husband received the fridge and he told me "the guy didn't look to happy about bringing the fridge". I also had a room in the third floor but the elevator was not working. My husband has a heart condition and I requested a change of room to the first floor. That went well. The breakfast next day was abundant and very good. The ladies in that area were very friendly and kind. Also the maid l met in the hall. The next day we were leaving and l like to go to the front desk to make sure l don't owe anything. The cafeteria ladies were trying to cover for the receptionist, this time was a woman. They were answering the phone, trying to find her, nobody knew were she was. Finally she showed up and she was unfriendly and cold. Again , the hotel is good, the breakfast is good, the room appropriate except for not having a fridge as a standard. Cleaning lady, breakfast ladies very nice. So, what's up with the front desk people??

We were on our way east on Route 66 and did a stopover in Las Vegas. The Holiday Inn Express was reasonable price, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is the normal garbage that is served in chain hotels, but that is par for this type of accommodation. Anyway, the lodging is fine and is convenient.

Front desk staff were very cordial. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Pool and hot tub were great. Ice only on first floor. Breakfast was the usual fare, but they ran out of sausage and bacon. It seemed they were slow in replenishing and they were completely out of milk for cereal.

We usually stay at Holliday Inn when we travel if one is available. We know we will get a clean modern room with good housekeeping friendly staff and great amenities and this one is no different. All the same, and you will get what you pay for.

When we are traveling long distances, we like to have a couple extra towels for the morning, so I attempted to call down to the front desk upon our arrival to ask for some. I was unable to do so, because all the access buttons on the phone (front desk, wake up call, etc.) would not work, so I had to go down to the front desk to ask for towels. I told them about the phone, and you'd think that they'd say "we'll bring you a new one" or send someone up to look at it, but apparently they didn't care. Good thing we had alarms on our cell phones, because we couldn't even call down to request a wake up call. When we left the next morning, there were no luggage carts available, so we had to make numerous trips (we were on a 2 week driving trip and had A LOT of luggage). When we asked at the front desk about a cart, they said they had 2, but someone must have kept it in there room. Now I understand that you can't do anything about that, but come on, TWO luggage carts for an entire hotel is unacceptable. I will say the bed was comfortable, but the water took awhile to get hot anytime you tried to shower.
