It was a good stay, except that due to the wind, the lights/electricity went out throughout town, and that included the hotel. Nice hotel overall.

False advertisement

Disappointed with stay and reservation. Traveling with 2 young children. Booked overnight stay specifically for indoor pool advertised on website. Needed a place to stay were children could unwind after a long car ride. Website did NOT say pool was closed and under construction, nor were we notified at checkin. Wasn’t until we checked in and paid for room and went down to pool that it was closed. Another family staying there were in the same position. Paid higher price for hotel compared to other area hotels because of indoor pool. When I notified front desk of disappointment they really were no concerned or apologetic.

Ok but details were not good.

The bed was great. The heater would not regulate itself properly so kept going in and off every 30 seconds. The coffee maker did not work. The bathroom door and closet door would not close properly. Breakfast was good.

We were in LVNM longer than expected because of a blizzard, and the staff were fantastic with all of us, and even made stew for the whole hotel since we were snowed in!

Overall, 3.5. Breakfast was not good, the only really good thing about breakfast were the waffles. The shower was really horrible. The water pressure was bad and the shower head was very high and hard to reach. The shower curtain was very dirty at the bottom. The temperature in the room was okay till about 5:30 this morning when the heater took a crap. And let us know very loudly that it no longer worked.

Cleaning staff needs attention

The stay, the staff and the comfort is excellent. But they need to do something about the cleaning, our bathroom floor looked like it had not been mopped in quite some time. You could see where the attempted to wipe the floor but definitely not scrub it!!!!

The room was great. Really good breakfast selection. The snack (soup) at night was a welcome surprise. No one at front desk when we checked in and we had to wait a few minutes before anyone showed up. No eating areas near restaurant but found one not too far away that was excellent.
