great for one night stop
Price is good, just dont expect too much. Worked Ok for us..
Good place to spend the night. Would stop by again.
I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was accommodating and professional. Had a great time at the flea market, a short walk up the road, on Saturday. Walking distance to the Recreation Center and a short drive to restaurants and downtown.
Kinda looks like Bates Motel, but in a good way. Extremely competitive pricing, and the breakfast is free! Also, the parking lot is ridiculously large.
The rooms are large enough that you won't feel constrained, and there is free wifi, but the breakfast is nothing much to speak of and the baths could use some remodeling. If you're crashing for cheap in Las Vegas NM & moving on the next day this place will serve well but I wouldn't make it my base camp for several days.
It was nice and cozy. Will stay here again. Staff were friendly and the location is good. It was quiet and peaceful.
I would stay there again, but for an extra $20 or $25 I'd stay somewhere else. The woman who checked me in was not unpleasant, but neither was she engaging or cheerful. She left me waiting for several minutes. After I rang the bell again she moved so I could see that she was on the phone. When she finally attended to me she was disinterested. She did not know which online booking service had placed my reservation or what rate I was quoted. She had to ask about bed size and smoking, even though that's all in the online reservation. I was glad I brought bath soap because the soap provided was so cheap it wouldn't lather. The towels were small and cheap and did not include a bath mat; I stood on one of the towels to avoid standing on the cold tile floor. There was plenty of hot water and the tub drained well, though the faucet was obviously old and required a lot of adjusting to balance the water temperature. The blackout curtains did their job, but it was all or nothing; there were no sheers, so you either had darkness with the curtains closed, or a wide open window that passersby could look into. The room and the linens were clean. There were no unpleasant or unexplained smells. The room didn't seem any more or less noisy than any other place I've stayed. The free breakfast was meager and poorly presented, but it was free. Bottom line - it's adequate. You get what you pay for. But don't expect any extra effort or value,.
