Was charged for parking at check-out but was never told there was a parking fee. When I questioned them they just looked at me and said they were sorry but they were not authorized to take it off. Not sure if this is normal operating procedure or just a mistake but be aware.

Unsafe doors that do not open to the hall, but to the inside of the room against all Scarlett regulations. No windows. The exit door is made of thin glass, not soundproof, that is covered by a curtain that interferes with opening and closing. No hot water, ever. No Internet. When we requested the servicio, manager Domínguez roughly told us to wait for a technician who never came . This is an example of false advertising. We could not complete our stay.

It's turn of the century luxury with WIfi. Awesome pool. The restaurant next door is the best I've had in a while.

Nice Mexican colonial property on the town square- quaint, inviting courtyard and pool area. Rooms ok, need an updating, but clean. Attentive staff took care of every need. Great steakhouse across the street called the "tack room" will stay again

This is a magnificent, historical hotel that sits on the Texas side of the Rio Grande. As soon as I stepped out of the car, I could feel the history of the hotel and area. I was greeted cordially by the valet who gave me a history background of the area. The hotel, restaurant, poolside are and rooms were immaculate. All staff were first class. One of my best experiences ever.

This place is very convenient to the border. Easy in and out with valet parking. Staff was very good. The hotel full of teenagers there for some sports tournament. I didn't hear a thing! For pets, there is a small city park (square) right outside of the front door, so that was perfect for us. I didn't venture far as I was very tired but would definitely stay there again.

We spend the night at this hotel in New Years Eve and it was very clean, comfortable, a bit noisy but overall very good. The pain was to try to check out. We needed to wait for "Nancy" to finish a doing the check.out of another guest for at least 15 minutes. She was receiving calls, flirting with the guy doing check out, answering again, continued flirting etc.. The hotel.is very pretty and it is worth the money it.was just the front desk.

The worst experience we have ever had at any hotel. The only positive I could mention is that the bellman who brought our bags to the room was very cordial. Dirty room, paper thin walls, beds as hard as plywood, dirty comforters, water in shower either blazing hot or freezing cold. Horrible experience

It was wonderful, the hotel is just great. Very pretty hotel. The staff was super nice.

The rooms are almost perfect, except for the beds that are too soft (overall good rooms). But I have to complain that you have to pay extra for parking (I went by on car).

I booked this hotel because it had high ratings on and I was not disappointed! The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I upgraded the reservation to the one bedroom suite at a rate of $129 that came out to be $140 after taxes and a 5% online promo code discount. The hotel rate was more than most in the area but it was worth it. I had a couple of drinks at the bar and breakfast in the hotel´s dining area the following morning and everything was perfect. The staff was more than helpful in all aspects. My pickup truck was loaded down with tons of stuff and the bell hop was very helpful unloading and loading my gear the following morning for a trip to Mexico City. I parked my truck in the hotel´s secured parking garage and I only unloaded the most valuable items from my truck and left the rest in the back and it was all there the following morning. What more can I say!!!

Great Hotel with great service, staff is friendly and polite. Very accommodating to business traveler. A must try is the Tack Room, food is outstanding!

Very nice and quiet..good food service and staff was fine. Location is good for dowtown shopping

We had an excellent experience and have returned since our first stay! More options on the menu would be great!

Wow! LaPosada Hotel...Clean; smell, pool, hotel landscape, and the restaruant. The staff was extremely knowledgible regarding Mexico, City of Laredo, and had information on things to see and do. Security was always present 24/7, being this close to the border, we slept well. The vallet had our vehicle pulled up front (with the AC on), and escorted us to our car. I noticed all of the guests were treated with the same kind service, really classy. The staff was always opening doors, asking if your stay is comfortable, plenty of towels at the pool, fully stocked bar inside the pool, USA Newspaper left at every door every morning. The LaPosada staff is working to win its customer back. Recently, I did not get the room location that I had reserved, they wanted to upgrade me to a suite. Really nice staff.

La Posada is the heart of Laredo. Wonderfully remodeled older hotel is right on the river. This is where one should stay to appreciate the heart and soul of Laredo and its Mexico roots. There are nice new hotels on the growing perimeter of town but there is no sense of where one is. La Posada has 2 nice pools with beautiful landscaped grounds that buffer the hustle and bustle of the outside. The Cafe and Tackroom are both outstanding. Please support the hotels that are part of the town they reside in!

The La Posada Hotel is a very confortable and pleasant home away from home. Our stay was one of the best anywhere.

The La Posada was a beautiful hotel, but the real draw was the staff. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but we can honestly say they have the friendliest, most helpful staff that we have ever experienced. The doorman, who is also a local traffic enforcement officer, made sure that we enjoyed evry meal, spoke with the taxi driver and arranged for him to pick us up from a restaurant and take us to a local club for some dancing, then return us to the hotel. The suite we stayed in was amazing, with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, flat-screen televisions in both the sitting area and bedroom. All the small touches were there; brand-name coffees and teas, nice shampoos, shaving gels, etc. The black granite, heavy, high-end wood furniture and black iron really lent itself to the Southwester/Mexican feel of the area. All of this at an incredible price. We are already planning a trip back to the La Posada for a longer stay.
